1.What is R.A 1425 also known as the the RIZAL Law,and when it was it enacted?

What is the main objective of R.A 1425?

*Republic Act No.1425 The Rizal Law is about implementing rules to educate people about the
life,works and writings of our national hero Dr.Jose Rizal,especially his novels Noli Me Tangere and El

Filibusterismo.This is to give the students and the future generations an ample backgound and for them
to understand about how Jose Rizal hands over his life for our country.It was enacted on June 12,1956

The objectives and purpose of this act;

First,is to enrich the minds of the students about the history of the Philippines specifically talking about
our national hero.

Second,is for the people not to take advantage of the novels of Rizal.For example,making revisions and
or deleting other parts of the texts resulting to variations that would affect the understanding of the
students and other readers.

Third,is to prove the people that violence is not always the solution in the battle like what Rizal did.

Fourth,mainly is for the people to have an inspiration through the life,works and writings of Jose Rizal.

2.How does R.A 1425 promote the study of the life,works and writings of its honoree?

*It Is by reading and studying Jose Rizal’s life,teachings and writings that the Filipino youth will be able
to gainincorruptible,confidence,direction,courage abnd determination to move forward in our people’s
journey towards in abundant life.

3.In what educational levels does R.A.1425 require the study of Rizal’s life and works?What potential
benefits does the implementation of R.A 1425 offer to the Filipino society and culture?

*Colleges is the educational levels R.A 1425 require the study of Rizal’s life and works.The benefits to
the Filipino society and culture areit helps us understand better ourselves as Filipino,it various essential
life lessons,Rizal can serve as worthwhile model and inspiration of every Filipino.

4.How do you think the inclusion of Rizal’s life and works in the curriculum can impact the national
identity and patriotism of Filipino students?

*Rizal’s life and works in the curriculum can impact the national identity and patriotism of Filipino
students it allows them to become better citizens of our country.Rizal’s is a role model for the youth of
this country.Through Rizal’s word we are able to see not only the strengths and virtues of us Filipinos but
also our defects and vices.
