WINDOW CHAPTER-1
1. Identify windows start button.
2. Identify windows desktop
3. Identify windows taskbar
4. Using search box open notepad
5. Pin sticky note and control panel to the task bar.
6. Unpin sticky note and control panel from the task bar.
7. Arrange desktop icons by name, size and type.
8. Drag an icon and keep on the right of desktop.
9. Auto arrange icons and view changes.
10. Hide all desktop icons.
11. Show desktop icons.
12. Create a folder on the desktop and assign a name.
13. Open ms word and ms excel.
14. Show both ms word and ms excel in cascade form.
15. Show both ms word and ms excel in stacked form.
16. Show both ms word and ms excel in side by side form.
17. Show task manager.
18. Show performance of CPU uses in task manager.
19. How ram memory uses in task manager.
20. Open file explorer.
21. Open library in a new window.
22. Open document, music, picture, and video library.
23. Create a folder in c drive and show the folder in document library.
24. Remove the folder from document library.
25. Create a new folder in document library and assign your name.
26. Open the folder and create another two folders inside it as abc1 & abc2.
27. Delete the folder abc1.
28. Rename abc2 as abc3
29. Show properties of abc3.
30. Create a folder by your name in any drive.
31. Show the location, creation date and time of the folder.
32. Show properties of any file in any drive and show file size, access date and
time of file.

33. Create one folder in document library and one in any other drive.
34. Create two folders inside the folder you have created in document library.
35. copy two folders which you have created now and paste inside the folder
you have created in other drive.
36. Cut two folders as in above question and paste on the desktop.
37. Open computer folder.
38. Open computer folder in a new window.
39. Show drives used space, free space and total capacity.
40. Create a folder in any drive by your name and delete.
41. Restore the folder from recycle bin.
42. Write total capacity, total free space and total used space of hard disk.
43. Write no of files and folders in c drive.
44. Create folder on the desktop and create four folders as music, picture,
document and video inside it.
45. Include the folder from desktop inside a library by your name in library
folder.
