Why do most animals in a tropical rain forest live in the trees?

animals.

tree branches and dense leafy roofs. Many different animal species, including
snakes, rodents, frogs, lizards, and monkeys, find shelter in these trees. The ability
to hide from predators is another defense offered by tropical rainforests.
Additionally, it makes food readily available in surplus and prevents food
competition. The creatures in a tropical rainforest therefore reside in the trees.
