Read the following text and draw lines to illustrate Theme Progression.

I read an inspiring book in my room yesterday. The book is entitled “Wellbeing Dech!”. It

consists of five chapters. However, I only read 3 chapters such as chapter 1, 3, and 5.

Chapter 1 discusses about things makes you sad. Chapter 3 elaborates things make you

happy. Chapter 5 talks about activities to boost our mental health. In short, this book is

very inspiring and beneficial for fresh year students.

There are three ways in communication: verbal, paraverbal, and nonverbal.

1) What are they? Verbal communication involves spoken or written words, while paraverbal
communication focuses on how words are spoken, including tone, pitch, pace, volume,
and emphasis. Nonverbal communication encompasses body language, gestures, and
facial expressions.

2) How do you maintain eye contact in nonverbal communication in virtual environment?

Looking at the camera lens, giving the illusion of eye contact


•It is okay If I look away to scan, chat, locate the annotation toolbar, screen share a
document, and focus on others. But, after that, I return my focus to the camera lens to
emphasize key points and create moments of connection.
•Elevating my device so the lens of my webcam aligns with my hairline—my eye contact
will appear eye level to better establish rapport.

Where I usually search for information when preparing a presentation can depend on
the topic and my specific needs, but common sources include:

2. Do you usually evaluate the information? Yes, it is crucial for me to evaluate the
information I gather for my presentation
3. How do you evaluate it?

When evaluating information, I consider several key criteria. Firstly, I assess the source's
credibility by examining the author's qualifications, the publication's reputation, and the
source's overall reliability. Next, I verify accuracy by cross-referencing the information
with multiple dependable sources and checking for citations or references within the
content. Additionally, I prioritize relevance, making sure that the gathered information
directly pertains to my presentation topic and supports my main arguments. I also
consider the currency of the information, ensuring it is up-to-date enough to remain
pertinent. Furthermore, I remain vigilant for potential biases in the source and how they
might affect the objectivity of the information. For academic or scientific content, I
check if the information has undergone peer review, indicating expert evaluation. Lastly,
I ensure that the information I use is not plagiarized or lacking proper attribution. These
criteria collectively enable me to effectively evaluate and incorporate reliable
information into my presentation.s
