Preface
Inspection and repair steps after failure of the vertical steam sterilizer:
After a failure of the vertical steam sterilizer, there is always one major failure.To analyze this major
fault, you can find the cause of the fault and how to eliminate it.We can generally find the cause of
the fault through the following ways,When overhauling, it should follow the principle of easy first
and hard, and gradually reduce the scope, and finally focus on a certain point.
Before repairing the machine, first of all, ask the operator about the situation.
For example, how long has the machine been used, when did the last maintenance (maintenance)
occur, what are the problems with the machine,whether or not there are replacement parts, how is the
maintenance(maintenance) effect,what is the failure in this case,what is the specific performance,and
Carefully review the machine's maintenance records,note which parts and consumables have been
replaced in the near future,and what parts have expired and have not been replaced.

I. Sterilizer alarm code and solution
After the initial situation is known, check the alarm code displayed by the sterilizer and query the
reason of the alarm code.

1.Code Err 001:Leakage phenomenon:
Inspection and treatment methods:Under the positive pressure condition of the pressure gauge,check
the connection of the pipelines and seals of the equipment,whether there is leakage,confirm the
position,and contact the manufacturer.

Err002
1.First of all, to observe the temperature when the alarm occurs, how many degrees.If the
temperature does not exceed 100 degrees, it may be because the heating tube fails to heat up.
Inspection Method: pour water directly in the pot, the water needs to float over the water level float.
Long press the door detection switch, start running the machine for about 3-5 minutes,observe
whether the heating tube bubbles.Heater tube is intact if air bubbles are generated.
represents the ending temperature of exhausting cold air,press the "Start / Stop",the
button displays the value and flashes,through the "▲","▼" to change value.The default value is 105,
press"▼" to change it to 102,then press the "start / stop" to confirm.
If problem remains after the above operate,follow the bellow instruction.
(Another reason for E02 is the parameters was affected by the environment,so you could restore
factory setting.
Press START/STOP and TEMP together 5s,then enter the menu,

1.Check if anywhere leak
1.Power on the machine,press the four buttons“TEMP“ “START/STOP”“▲” “TIME”to gether 5
second.
3.Repeat the first step select the ,then press“START/STOP”,remember the display
original number(note:must take a photo of this number)press“START/STOP”.for example if the
number is 430.compare two numbers ,select the bigger one.
4.change 1384 to 1379,then press “TEMP “ “START/STOP” “▲” “TIME” at the same time to save.

Fault description:the sensor is not connected or damaged,the temperature in the pot is below 10℃.
Cause of failure:if 008 alarm appears, it may be sensor fault or circuit board failure. If 008 alarm
appears in operation, it may be sensor fault or control board fault.
Inspection method:
check indoor temperature first,if room temperature is below 10℃,008 alarm will appear.If 008 alarm
appears when indoor temperature is higher than 10℃,circuit board or sensor should be replaced
directly.
008 alarm appears in operation.Hold the sensor probe at the bottom of the sterilizer chamber under
cold overheating.Observe whether the temperature displayed by the control panel changes normally.

If the temperature display is abnormal, the connection may be off, sensor failure, circuit board
failure.
Solution: from the left maintenance window, observe whether the wiring of the temperature sensor
on the circuit board is wrong or not. If normal, it is necessary to loosen the connection terminal with
a screwdriver.remove the connection of the temperature sensor, and use a multimeter to measure the
resistence of sensor ,white and any red terminal to judge whether the sensor is damaged or not
according to the resistance value.(normal value is about 109Ω)
Change the sensor with a cross screwdriver, remove the screws marked in the drawing, and remove
the left cover.

Loosen the sensor wire, follow the sensor wire to find the sensor head, and remove the sensor with a
wrench.
Wrap the new sensor head around the raw material belt, tighten the sensor in its original position, and
then attach the three sensor joints to the circuit board (white,red) in its original position.
2,replace the circuit board. First of all, from the left maintenance window, all the wiring on the
circuit board loosened. Release the fastening screws on the circuit board. Remove the circuit board.
When disconnecting the wiring of the circuit board, pay attention to the mark to prevent the wrong
wiring during installation and cause the circuit board to burn out.

Fix the new circuit board in its original position,and then attach all the wiring harness to the circuit
board in its original position.
E32:
Fault explanation: in the specified time,there is no enough water in the chamber.
1.press on the door switch all the time,run any program,check if there is water flow into chamber
quickly.if the water flowed slowly or no water goes into chamber,the filter or solenoid valve
clogging.pls follow 2 step.

Approach:
Clean the filter screen: remove the filter net from the two yellow filter nuts with filter labels on the
back of the machine, wash the filter net with clear water, and then tighten the filter net.
disassemble the solenoid valve core with wrench and clean the foreign body in the valve core.

3.Water level switch jammed or malfunctioning, solenoid valve malfunction.
Inspection of water level switch: Open the machine chamber cover, take out all the objects in the
chamber, at the bottom of the machine, equipped with a water level detection switch.
If the ball valve is easy to move and the icon lights will flicker, the water level switch will be all
right. If the ball valve has greater active resistance, or The lamp will not be lit, it may be the water
level

Is the connection normal or the water level switch replaced.
Replace water level switch: first remove the wiring of the water level switch on the circuit board,
remove the back cover of the machine and find the position of the water level switch. Unscrew the
nut of the water level switch and remove the water level switch from the cavity.
Install the new water level switch to the original position and connect the connection to the water
level switch
The connection is sufficient.

Err064:
Error description:The water shortage(no water) in the pot causes the heating coil heat without water.
Fault reason:water level float doesn’t work, solenoid valve has problem,or overload use.
Check method:1 、 Power on the device,manually move the float up and down when the pot is
cool,observe whether the corresponding indicator lamp on the circuit board is on or off normally,it
proves the float is normal, if it is not normal, the float is broken.
2、If it appeared E064 at the beginning of the machine powered on,it is judged the anti-dry thermostat
is broken.
3 、 If it appeared E064 during heating-up process,observe whether there’s water out from the tank
tube, and obverse water out position,if the water out from the drain pipe, it is judged the solenoid
cannot be closed,it needs to clean the valve or change it.if the water flow from net above the flushing
port,it is judged the solenoid valve cannot be closed or installed in the opposite position.

4、if it appeared 064 in sterilization process,please whether overload use the machine.
Check method:
1、change the water level float。Remove the back cover of machine,find connection cable,loosen the
connection cable on the circuit board,remove the screws of the float,take out the old water level float
from the pot. Install the new float in the original position.
2、change the solenoid valve. Use cross screwdriver,remove the back cover of the machine,find
water-in and water-out solenoid valve, unplug the connection cable.

remove the old solenoid valve, and install the new valve according to the original place and position,
install the pipe according to the original position(the pipe cannot be connected wrong,valve 1 mouth
connected to the pot,2 valve mouth connected to the water tank through the outer filter) please mark
the1 and 2,avoid connecting wrong position.
Err128
ERROR:The door was opened while the machine was running
Error factor:
1.the door detection switch broken
2.The door was not closed firmly
3.The nut of the door shaft is loosen.
Solution:
1.open the door,find the door detection switch ,press it and check the indicator light or not,if it goes
off,the switch is ok.

2.turn off the machine,after the pressure turn back to 0,open the lid,and close the lid again,make sure
the lid closed firmly,restart it.
3.remove the hand wheel and cover of the machine.Check if the nuts on the shaft are fastened or not.

II. How to replace electrical components
In order to ensure that the sterilizer is in good working condition and to reduce the number of failures
as much as possible, the operations described in this chapter must be followed.
Before starting maintenance, make sure that the equipment is powered off. At the same time, there is
no pressure in the sterilization container.
After the daily work is finished, clean the door apron with a soft cloth or a piece of gauze.
Take out the basket. Wipe the inner wall of the sterile container with gauze with detergent and water.
Don`t use steel slag or steel brush, so as not to damage the sterilization chamber walls.
Clean and remove scale from the interior of the sterilization container.
Once a week, wipe the sterilizer cover with a soft cloth.
Once a week, check the safety valve.
Periodic inspection
Once a month, tightening the connector and detecting the on-off status should be done by a
professional electrician.
Once a year, the door lock device must be inspected due to extreme wear and tear.

2. Replace safety valve steps
Usage Notice:These repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel.Unless you are a
professional talent,otherwise,avoid electric shock, equipment failure,be sure to check the manual,
and according to the instructions for maintenance,at the same time,the manual has provided the
professional staff with maintenance methods as much as possible.
1)It is located above the rear of the device。
2)Remove safety valve retainer screw, remove the safety valve from the safety valve seat.
3)Replace it with a qualified safety valve. Test the sterilization process.
3. Thermostat
Located inside the device. The sterilizer is equipped with a thermostat. It can maintain a constant
temperature by turning the power on and off during the heating and sterilization phases. Usually used
as a temperature alarm device. If the pot temperature exceeds the allowable value, the
thermostat
automatically turns off the heater.
When the pot temperature dropped below the allowable value, the thermostat automatically
connected.

6. Replace the water level float step
Before this operation, cut off the power and make sure there is no pressure inside the sterilizer.
1)Remove the wiring of the water level float on the main circuit board.
2)Put the device on the ground.
3)Remove the water level float at the bottom of the pan.
4)Replace the damaged water level float with a new water level float, The position of the new water
level float should coincide with the position of the water level float to be replaced and be connected.
5)Lift the device.
6)Test all the work process.
