salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again. Our prayers are so precious to Him that He
keeps them in golden bowls. We know that He has given us the greatest gift of all in salvation

but we know He helps us with that, too. For me following Christ is interacting daily with Someone
who knows me and, despite my flaws, loves and accepts me. First, there is the vine. (Have the child
who has the Grape Vine place it on the wall.) Whose name is on the vine? (Jesus) The Bible calls
Jesus the True Vine. He helps us, just like I helped you with the clock. The rain came down, the
streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its
foundation on the rock. Give each child a copy of the song lyrics to take home with their prayer cup.
Please use our childrens ministry curriculum and Sunday School material for any purpose that brings
honor to Jesus. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that
house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24-27. This is exactly the beauty I needed this
morning. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. 7 Now they
know that everything that you have given me is from you. 8 For I have given them the words that
you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you;
and they have believed that you sent me. 9 I am praying for them. Now that I, your Lord and
Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. We do not merely spew off
hopeful words that drift up to heaven unnoticed. Put a circle of tape on the back of each one and
give each visual to a different child. Our printable primary talks about Jesus were made to coincide
with the sharing time lesson for each week of Primary School. When Jesus was born, if fulfilled so
many prophecies. We are so lucky to know that we are children of God and that he loves us. During
Christmas time we often talk about the birth of the Savior. I work in our regional church office and
have actually recommended this to several of our congregations with smaller Sunday schools.
Help me to offer “a continual sacrifice of praise to” You throughout each and every day. Amen.
Explain that the Bible says our prayers smell sweet and beautiful to God. Now that you know these
things, you will be blessed if you do them. Sometimes we don’t know how to come up with the right
words to pray, but we know He helps us with that, too. Bring in a nice bowl and a nicely scented
candle to illustrate this beautiful picture. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet,
you also should wash one another’s feet. If you have asked Jesus to be your Savior, you are like a
branch on a vine in God’s garden. My intent in this song is to teach children that there are different
reasons, and ways that we come to God in prayer, as Jesus illustrated in The Lord's Prayer. How do
the branches get these things? (through the roots) The vine sends food and water from the roots to
the branches. Ask them to show you a happy face, and then hold the mirror up to each child so that
they can see their own happy faces. He helps us, just like I helped you with the clock. Ask what
makes them happy and give each child an opportunity to respond. The person may look like a
Christian, and even act like one (by going to church and doing good things). Our prayers are so
precious to Him that He keeps them in golden bowls. We have recently started a new special needs
class at our church and I am using a few of you ideas for sensory lessons. The illustration involved
uses an object that requires tools and assistance to fix, in order to share with kids how God gives us
tools and assistance to communicate with Him. NOTE: If you are seeing this message in IE 9-11
please turn off IE Compatibility View to experience this site to the fullest extent! Jesus will never
leave us, just as a vine never leaves the branches. (If you have children who are interested in
becoming part of God's family and having Jesus as their Savior, talk with them individually after
your lesson.). Using a hand mirror in this lesson makes prayer personal to each child, keeps them
engaged in the lesson. Even children can gain a special testimony of Jesus. In the Gospel of John,
one of the last things that Jesus did before going to the cross was pray for His disciples. Prayer is a
powerful and essential tool that helps us get through life’s challenges. I truly love our Savoir and his
wonderful example. Preschoolers can learn that there are different reasons that we pray, and that no
matter where, or how we pray, God always hears us, Here are some simple object lesson illustrations
to choose from to teach your preschoolers about prayer. Children understand the principles of the
Gospel as well as anyone. You are with me all the way, even though the storms may howl about me.

thank you for being generous enough to share your ideas. For Easter, I've created my own
Resurrection Eggs to tell the story of Jesus' death and resurrection. I am new to children's ministry
and this page has been like finding gold. My motivation for blogging is that I know that others
struggle with life as I do and a partner on the journey is always welcome. Let this thought lift your
heart, dear teacher, as you prepare to teach this week. We look forward to His Second Coming with
excitement and joy. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should
wash one another’s feet. To prepare, print, and cut out the templates and song lyrics. (Tip: photocopy
the hands template in double-side mode so that the hand print will be seen on both sides.) Use a pen
or pencil to poke two holes opposite each other near the rim of the cups. The book also comes with a

Lead your children in simple prayers for forgiveness, help and peace. Holy Father, keep them in your
name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. 12 While I was with
them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. He helps us, just like I helped you with

children can study this prayer and be challenged to memorize it, but since we are teaching younger
children, let's break it down to teach them how to pray in different situations. But He has also
provided us with a special tool that allows us to communicate with God. The person may look like a
