Problem: My laptop's battery died entirely one day when it abruptly stopped
charging. I plugged it in multiple times, but the charging indicator never lit
up. Additionally, even with the charger plugged in, the laptop would not turn
on.

Solution: I initially made sure the power outlet and the charger were working
properly by testing them with a different device, since I was suspicious that
there might be a hardware problem with the charging port or the adapter.
Once they appeared to be okay, I focused on the laptop.
