5. CONTENT:

5.1 Key responsibilities and accountabilities

- Direct and control the work and resources of the company and ensure the recruitment and
retention of the required numbers and types of well-motivated, trained and developed staff to
ensure that it achieves its mission, strategy and objectives.
- Prepare and gain acceptance of an annual business plan and budget and monitor progress
against this to ensure that the company achieves its agreed targets and standards for
financial, operational and quality performance consistent with the mission statement.
- Recruit, select and develop members of the company’s Management Team to enable them to
achieve the companies agreed targets and standards for financial, operational and quality
performance while offering them challenging opportunities in a performance-orientated
environment. Promote an environment of openness and trust.
- Lead the companies long term business development and relationships with key customers
securing profitable work to match the businesses growing capabilities and to ensure we
become a reliable partner for our customer.
- Acquisition, maintenance and efficient utilisation of the company’s physical assets.
- Represent the company in negotiations with customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders
to secure the most effective contract terms for the company acting honestly and with integrity.
- Develop and maintain the total quality management systems throughout the company to
ensure that the best possible products and services are provided to customers.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance through clear communication channels to the
members of the Board, to keep them aware of the developments within the industry/territory
and to ensure that the company's mission and objectives are met and to comply with all
relevant statutory and other regulations.
- Establish and maintain reliable partnerships with major customers, employees and all other
stakeholders generally, to exchange information and views while protecting intellectual
property/information and to ensure that the company is providing the appropriate range and
quality of services.
- Develop programmes to ensure that the company remains at the forefront in the industry,
applies the most cost-effective methods and approaches, provides market leading products
and services, and retains its competitive advantage through a continuous improvement
philosophy to be the best in our field of activities.
- Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with appropriate economic and
industry development agencies to enable the business to take maximum leverage of any
assistance available e.g Financial, Training, and Specialist Advice.
- Oversee the preparation of the annual report and accounts of the company and ensure their
approval by the Company Auditors and subsequently the Board.
- Develop and direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the
company complies with all health, safety & environmental (HS&E) and other statutory
regulations. Develop and enhance the corporate social responsibilities (CSR) of the
company.

5.5 Competence requirements


a. Background /qualification:
University degree in Engineering/ Business Management prefer

b. Experience:
- 10 experiences in Technical/ Manufacturing roles within precision engineering company;
- 5 years international business development experiences preference Asia
- 5 years experience in general management of technical manufacturing company

c. Special skill:
