- Yes, my name is Kamara, I am 25 years old, I came from Somalia, and I am a professional
football player.
- I saw you during the match, you were awesome, I can’t believe you have done it.
- Yes, me too. I don’t know how I did it, but I will work on it in training.
- I know you was living in an under-privilege situation; can you tell us more? How did you get
out of poverty?
- In my childhood, I wanted to be a football playerto earn a lot of money and to get out my
family out of the slum.
- What were the most memorable moments for you during this competition?
- The most memorable moment in this competition is when I scored a goal at the last minute
and saved my team from the failure.
- What are you going to do you with the money you earned?
- With this money I will help my country to fight starvation and of course give money to my
family.
- How do you think your success will inspire the other?
- My aspiration includes reaching the highest level of my sport and making a positive impact
- What were your sources of inspirations when you were a child?
- I always wanted to meet Didier Drogba and Yaya Touré I wanted to akind them; in my slum
they were the most popular football player.
- What was your journey to reach such a level of football?
- I have always played football, and thanks to my determination I managed to reach the
highest levelof this sport.
- Wich club do you see yourself playing for next year?
- I am in Aston Villa; I am focuses on my objectives we will see where fate take me
- What message do you want to give to the next generation?
- Whatever your social background you can achieve some great things.
- How do you think Somalia’s victory will affect the mood of people?
- It a very difficult question. I will hope that people will change their opinion of football in our
country in the manner of Invictus
- Somalia is not traditionally known as a football powerhouse. What do you think has
contributed to your team's success?
- You are right; Somalia is not known as a great football country, but this year was ours. We
couldn’t fail.

- I will continue playing football, I hope I will continue to inspire the next generation.
