HOW IT ALL BEGAN…

My teaching story begins way back in my playroom where I would sit behind an old
junkyard desk, creating activities for my “students”.
Fast forward 20 something years and I became newly married and a first year teacher
all in the same year. To say I was overwhelmed by all that was expected of me and the
WIDE range of students I had in my classroom, would be an understatement.
I quickly realized that there was so much 4 years of college hadn’t prepared me for. I
began creating activities to supplement the dated curriculum we were given. I found ways
to differentiate and engage those students who needed a little extra “something”
Now, grab some coffee (or whatever your drink of choice is) and let’s work together.
My goal is to simplify your life as a teacher by providing you with activities that engage
your students, but don’t take your whole Sunday evening to put together.

2 Mr. Decker baked 2 dozen cookies with bunny sprinkles on top. He gave 8 cookies to
his neighbors and he gave 3 cookies to the mailman. How many cookies does Mr.
Decker have left?

3 There were 56 kids at the Eater egg hunt in town. 37 kids left early for lunch. 14
more kids who had eaten lunch earlier came and joined the Easter egg hunt. How
