Intervention: Youth Empowerment for
Substance-Free Lives
Our intervention, "Youth Empowerment for
Substance-Free Lives," is rooted in ethical
principles and designed to address the needs of
our community. We apply three essential
National Organization for Human Services
standards in our approach:
Confidentiality: We prioritize the confidentiality
of our clients, ensuring their personal
information remains secure. This creates a safe
environment for open and honest discussions
about substance abuse.
Informed Consent: We obtain informed consent
from our clients and their parents or guardians.
We explain the intervention's goals, potential
outcomes, and the rights of our clients to make
informed decisions about their well-being.
