EXPLANATION:

“Woman with a Parasol - Madame Monet and Her Son, 1875 by Claude Monet” a beautiful
portrait of a French painter and founder of impressionist painting, Claude Monet. The woman with a
parasol shows the feeling of a casual family outing; how it feels to be in one. A portrait made by Claude
Monet illustrating his wife and son. This portrait mainly focuses on Monet’s family bonding during a
sunny windy weather just like how the wind sways the radiant green field and Madame Monet’s skirt. As
Monet was making this portrait of his wife and son, he did it while looking up to them creating an
impressionism art in a point of view style. This also includes a part of showing the ground - subject -
background showing what he sees through his eyes. A Monet’s way of showing love to what he loves.
