Dear Tanyaradzwa

Warm congratulations on becoming a valued member of the prestigious Edoofa Scholarship

Program!

As you embark on this remarkable journey within our community, we are thrilled to extend to you
the invaluable opportunity to participate in our exclusive Earn While You Learn (EWYL)
Program. The EWYL program is thoughtfully designed with our Edoofians' growth in mind,
offering a pathway to skill development, financial independence for educational pursuits, and
most importantly, a journey towards enhancing employability during higher education.

While we are elated to witness the enthusiasm of our Edoofians to dive into their EWYL
Program experience, our commitment to a structured approach remains unwavering. Therefore,
the commencement of the EWYL program is subject to a set of conditions that need to be
acknowledged and fulfilled before initiation. Please note that failure to meet these conditions will
result in a delay in starting the EWYL program.

Orientation Period (7-15 days)

The foundation of the EWYL program begins with an orientation lasting 7 to 15 days, guided by
a dedicated mentor. During this phase, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of program
intricacies, essential requirements, mentorship session schedules, project details, evaluation
criteria, and avenues for scholarship credit accumulation. Following this orientation, Edoofians
will collaborate closely with their mentors to undergo training and engage in projects to earn
credits.

Minimum 15-Day Commitment

To successfully complete this orientation, both Edoofians and their parents are required
to allocate a minimum of 15 days. During this period, you will dedicate 1 hour daily to
engage with your assigned mentor. Please ensure to provide your availability details at
the end of this document after a thorough review.

Group Engagement and Introduction

Upon confirming your availability, you will receive a link to join your designated EWYL
group. Follow the provided instructions to introduce yourself as directed by your
Admissions Officer.

Informing Admissions Officer

Once you have successfully joined the EWYL group, it is imperative to promptly notify
your Admissions Officer about the completion of this step.

Delayed Initiation

Should you, or your parents, face any immediate constraints in commencing the EWYL
program, we encourage you to communicate your availability to the admissions team.
Subsequently, parents or guardians commit to an intensive 3-day orientation (1 hour per day),
tailored to expedite program entry. Following the completion of this orientation, students are
required to communicate their availability and align with mentors according to the provided
schedule.

Sustaining Engagement
During periods of unavailability after the 3-day orientation, we encourage students and
parents to maintain a monthly touch base with their mentors (pre-planned) to ensure a
continued connection with the EWYL program's progress.
