Overview of safety
1. Warning:
This product was precisely manufactured, assembled and grounded. Do not try to uninstall or repair
the equipment. All the repair shall be performed by authorized repair center and by qualified personnel.
2. Key safety measures
When use this electric product, child shall be especially taken care, and the following safety
protection measures shall be complied with:
◆ Danger - Reduce the risk of electric shock
1) Shut down the power on the end of each use;
2) Do not fetch the equipment falling in water, shut down the power firstly;
3) Do not place or store the equipment in the location easily affected by water drop or other liquid.
4) Do not contact with equipment in humidity;
5) Do not uninstall the equipment. Consult the qualified service personnel for service.
6) Periodic electric safety checks
◆ Warning - Reduce the risk of burn, electric shock, fire and body hurt.
1) When the power is on, leaving of personnel is not allowed;
2) When the children or personal is close to the equipment, they should be monitored.
3) In this manual, the instructions were described. Do not use the accessories beyond the
recommendation of manufacturer; otherwise the performance of equipment will be lowered.
4) In cases of the following circumstance, do not use the equipment, return it to service center for check
or repair: damage of power line or plug, abnormal running of equipment, falling and destroy of the
equipment, equipment falling in water, etc.
5) Power line shall keep away from heat or heating surface.
6) Do not block the air intake of the product; soft cloth and articles such as floss shall be avoided on
intake.

HANDLING
1. Overview
Type 7E Portable Phlegm Suction Unit is a new generation non-lubricant negative pressure pump
suction apparatus developed and manufactured from similar products. It is applicable for purulence, blood,
sputum and viscosity fluid suction in operation of medical unit and other situations applicable (it is not
applicable for abortion suction).
2. Structure characters and operational principle
► Uses non-lubricant pump, can prevent oil pollution of environment.

► All-plastic panel, with good water-erosion-proofing performance.

► Fluid storage bottle is designed as embedded structure, cubic shape negative pressure
gauge, all-plastic shell design.
► This equipment will not produce positive pressure in running, which ensured the
reliability and safety in use.
► The negative pressure adjustment system can adjust the pressure steplessly according to requirement.
► The volume is small, weight is light, taking is convenient, especially suitable for cruise
diagnostic need of various circumstances.

Debugging
1. Unload from carton
The user shall check the appearance, accessories types, amount and consistentce with instruction
manual of product before install and debut the product. If there is missing, please contact the
supplier and manufacture in time.

4. Verify the tube

► Screw on the negative pressure adjustable valve by clockwise, block the intake orifice with finger or

rubber head of burette, or fold and pinch the soft suction tube.
► Turn on the suction apparatus, run the equipment, there shall be allophone. The index finger on

vacuum meter will ascend to minimum negative pressure value quickly; unloose the intake orifice, the
index finger will go back to less than 0.02MPa, which shows the tube is correctly connected.
► Connect the suction tube, when connect F6 suction tube, negative pressure value
of negative pressure system shall be less than 0.06MPa; connect F8, negative pressure
value shall be less than 0.04MPa; connect F12 suction tube, negative pressure value
shall be less than 0.03MPa. The above-mentioned circumstances show the suction
apparatus is normal, suction tube is smooth.
Note: IF the suction tube is not smooth, dredge according to following method: fold
the suction soft catheter into V shape (there shall be no fluid in fluid storage
bottle), make the negative pressure value achieve maximum value, recover the
suction soft catheter to original shape quickly, repeat several times to make
the suction tube smooth.

5. Adjust the negative pressure
► Block the intake orifice, turn on the switch of suction apparatus, adjust the negative pressure
adjustable valve, index value of pressure meter shall be in scope of .02MPa～limit negative pressure
value.
► In clinical use, the negative pressure adjustable valve is used for control the necessary

negative pressure value in suction.

► The negative pressure will ascend when the index finger of negative pressure adjustable valve

rotate by clockwise.
► The negative pressure shall be lowered to less than 0.02 MPa before shutting down

the equipment.

6. Check and test the flooding apparatus

► Open the bottle piston, clear the valve orifice, press the rubber valve patch on floater to flat, the
valve shall not with deficiency such as warp, mangle, and the connection with floater shall be good.
The floater shall freely move in floater rack and without blocking.
► Raise the bottle piston by manual to make the floater contact with water surface vertically, then

descend the bottle cover slowly, the floater shall float.

► Cover the bottle cover closely, there is suction soft tube on intake orifice, screw on the adjustable

valve, run the suction apparatus. Drop the suction soft tube in water bucket or simulate the actual use,
suck the fluid into fluid storage bottle with flooding apparatus. The ascend of fluid level will take the
float ascend of floater, until the close of valve orifice, suction will stop automatically. Finally the fluid
level will change along with the suction method.
►Loose the adjustable valve, shut down the suction apparatus, open the bottle piston,
empty the fluid storage bottle, when screw on the piston again, the float shall be locating
on the bottom of floater rack, and the valve orifice shall be on “ON” status.
The flooding apparatus conforming to above-mentioned requirements can run normally and can
be used for clinical application.

Note 1: When shutting off the flooding apparatus, if the fluid level ascend continually, there are 2
potential causes:
(1) caused by residual negative pressure in fluid storage bottle.
(2) valve orifice not completely closed.
For the first case, when the suction soft tube leave the suction fluid and drop in it again, the fluid
level of fluid storage bottle will not ascend; for the second case, the fluid level will ascend still, this
shall be observed carefully, if the fluid storage bottle is near full, the suction soft tube shall be taken
out from suction fluid immediately, shut down the suction apparatus, stop to suck, investigate the
cause of deficiency of valve orifice.
Note 2: After the valve orifice closed by floater, the floater perhaps still sucked on valve orifice
This is caused by negative pressure in tube. Loose or shut off the suction apparatus (loose the
negative pressure in tube). The floater will get away from valve orifice under gravity (pulling off the
floater by manual is forbidden to prevent the separation of rubber valve patch with floater).
3. After shut off the equipment, release the negative pressure before open the bottle piston.
4. Using of suction apparatus in case of the flooding apparatus and guide tube uninstalled is forbidden.

7. Shutting down
Shut down the suction apparatus firstly, pull off the plug from power receptacle to cut off the

power.

Use and maintenance
1. Use and maintenance
►Before use, install and debug the procedure to check the suction apparatus to ensure the performance,
connect the disinfected suction soft tube and abdominal cavity suction tube.
Note: For the use of equipment-attached suction tube, please consult instructions in package
before use.
► In use, the negative pressure adjustable valve uses negative pressure necessary, note the fluid level in
fluid storage bottle. if the level of former fluid storage bottle ascend to specified capacity (still
applicable if the integral equipment leans for 10 degrees), shall stop to suck, waiting for empty before
use the backup fluid storage bottle again. The backup fluid storage bottle can prevent the fluid entering
the pump as buffer bottle.
Note: If the flooding apparatus shut off, and the fluid level ascend still, the countermeasures see
“Check and Test the Flooding Apparatus”.
► Emergency measure in use:
(1) If there is pum and phlegm, which glues and blocks the suction tube, turn to loose
the negative pressure adjustment valve quickly, release the negative pressure,
change the suction tube before suct the pum again.
(2) If suction tube is hardly to remove after suction of pum or human body tissue,
turn to loose the negative pressure adjustment valve according to
above-mentioned method.
Note 1: Before suction, fold the suction soft catheter into V shape, turn on the machine
to allow the negative to necessary scope, insert the suction tube into pum
blocking part of sufferer, then recover the suction soft catheter to original
shape to perform suction, the effect will be better.
Note 2: Specification and size of suction tube is selected by medicinal personnel
according to clinical need.
Note 3: The use of suction apparatus shall be under instruction of medicinal personnel,
strictly follow the operation procedure in scope, any question please contact
the supplier or manufacturer.

2. Change of air filter

The air filter suck the bubble or dust, which will cause the cooler of filter membrane change from
gray to dark, and will cause suction force of intake orifice decrease even disappear, while the
negative pressure on pressure meter will ascend continually up to 0.04MPa or more, at that time the
air filter shall be changed in time with air filter manufactured by our company.

Note 1: Shutting down of flooding device, blocking of tube in use will also cause reducing even
disappearance of suction force and increasing of negative pressure value. Refer to
“Stroubleshooting of usual failures”
Note 2: The air filter shall be changed frequently and destroyed centralizedly.

3. Change of fuse tube

The fuse tube is installed on back of base, if necessary to change, shut down the power first. Loose
the index finger with cross screw or “-” shape screw by counterclockwise, then change.

4. Maintenance after use

► Before shut down the equipment, sucking little clean water into suction apparatus recommended to
clean the interior wall of tube.
► After shut down the equipment, empty the fluid storage bottle, clear the dirty on bottle and piston with

soft brush or cloth, then flush with clean water and disinfect. (including flooding valve, valve patch and
floater shall not separate)
► Fluid storage bottle, piston and each tube can be disinfected with Kangweida disinfection piece

(0.5g/piece) with the preparation proportion of 1: 200 concentration, soak for 1 hour.
Fluid storage bottle and the cover can be sterilized 30 times with disinfectant. If the air tightness can not
reach 0.075MPA, replace the cover seals.

Note: Fluid storage bottle is plastic product, do not crash with acute article in washing and use, and
prevent falling.
► The surface of equipment can be cleared with disinfected warm cloth. The fluid shall be prevented to

enter the gap of equipment.

► The equipment not in use shall be located in dry and clear area and shall be operated periodically

(usually once per 6 months).

Note: Check the flooding apparatus, guide tube and other tubes before the next use and the orifice of guide
tube facing on interior wall of fluid storage bottle shall be ensured.

► If there is non-man-made quality issue in one week after distribution, it is our company to response
for returning, change and reapair. In normal use and normal maintenance circumstances, if the
Electric Suction Apparatus can not be normally used, if there is quality issue in one and half a year
since deliveyr (or used for 1 year), the company is responsible for repair for free or change for free;if
there is quality issue after one and half a year, user can contact the post-sales service department,
office or agents for repair for free based on invoice and repair guarantee card;If it can not be
normally used after half a year, the company can provide accessories and repair with reasonable
charge.
► The following circumstances are not included in repair guarantee scope: ①
Whole machine damage or distortion caused by crash; ② water or rain entering
the whole machine; ③ Water, blood, pum or glue fluid entering pump and caused
pump not normally work by user; ④ Articles easily to damage or easily to consume:
air filter, suction tube, fuse.
► If necessary, the power supply circuit and materials necessary for repair can be provided by our
company. If there is question on electric circuit repair, please contact with the manufacturer.
