The objectives of this research were to find
out the use of Content-Based
Instruction (CBI) improve the students’
English speaking skill at the Tenth Grade of
SMA Negeri Sawa and to find out the use of
Content-Based Instruction (CBI) can make
the students’ interest in learning speaking.
The sample of the research consists of 23
students. The instruments were a speaking test
and questionnaire.
