JOBSCOPE

This position entails comprehensive control, reporting, work design and execution of all strategic and
short term planning of the CEO and the Board which encompasses operations, legal, finance, business
development, business intelligence and strategic planning. The COO is to coordinate effectively with
members of the staff ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently, within direction and timely.
Dapertments that shall be under your purview and responsibilities are :

Operations

To ensure all procedures are being performed according to the Standard Operating Procedure, complete
documentation and efficient record keeping, zero customer complaints with full diligence. Operations
scope include procedures for Drawdown, Refund, Pre-Factoring Repayments, Statement of Accounts
and Cashflow management.

Business Development

To ensure staff are well trained to conduct business with stakeholders with professionalism and care.
The COO is also responsible to ensure proper and sufficient planning that produce on-target
achievement by fully utilizing the allocated resources.

Funding & Market Intelligence

To ensure the department performs comprehensive market data collection is capable to contribute
towards tactical and strategic planning. This department is responsible in assessing competitors’
behavior, market practice, government announcements, open market developments and other primary
and secondary data inputs.

The department is also expected to source for funding for the company and make initial contact with
potential investors or funders.

Legal & Risk Management

To ensure department’s legal documentations are prepared in accordance to Malaysian Law and
common practice and liaison with appointed Legal Firms are conducted to the company’s best interest.

To ensure that the department is conducting thorough evaluation of the Credit Memo Proposal
submitted by the Business Development department and arrange for Credit Committee’s onboarding
approval.

To ensure the department performs effective lapsed account recovery and conducts proper liaison with
SGC’s appointed Legal Firms.

Marketing & Corporate Communications

To ensure the department devices effective marketing campaign by utilizing inputs from Intelligence
department to disseminate information on the company and educate the public on its business nature.

To ensure any liaisons, communications and Corporate Identity is under due representation of the
company’s vision and mission.
