Wow! In high school I wrote a graphic program. She treats them so attentively it's clear that she must
love them. Kids might not realize it, but you learn by being creative as well; every time you write a
poem or make a video or practice your guitar, you learn something you didn’t know before and it
expands your perspective on life. Maybe we can grow up similarly and just stay in touch:) I have

little every day, 3) Exercise a little every day, and 4) Eat more vegetables. My mom passed away
several years ago. BUT.after some noodling and playing with rhyme I remembered a funny story

tribute poem, and then reading through the October 2016 padlet poetry. My focus this summer has
been on writing new poems, revamping my website, and getting ready for the release of One Minute
till Bedtime. Types of cover letters Different cover letters serve different purposes. More often, ideas
for poems come to me as my mind begins to wander while I’m falling asleep. How did the site come

NESBITT: A lot of it comes from just being exposed to kids. At History I’m Hopeless (By Kenn
Nesbitt) video games in my class. My personal favorite poem of mine in the book is “Have I Told
You?” which is a sweet ode to the friendship between a child and their teddy bear. There are SO
many wonderful poems in this collection. I'm not writing as much of the funny stuff these days, but I
still think Kenn is the bee's knees when it comes to introducing children to poetry. I thought it was so
difficult, that I knew I would never be a writer. However. This usually means waking up and writing
for the next hour or two. She doubtlessly adores them and thinks so highly of them. My first book
from a traditional publisher was The Aliens Have Landed!, published in 2001 by Meadowbrook

February 20, 1962 in Berkeley, California. Kenn Nesbitt has collaborated with poet Linda Knaus on
one collection of Christmas poems entitled Santa Got Stuck in the Chimney and with children's
musician Eric Herman on several CDs. Being children's poems, many make fun of school life. I
almost didn’t hear her when my mother called my name. Nesbitt's writing often includes imagery of
outrageous happenings, before ending on a realistic note. I'm not writing as much of the funny stuff
