The Nihility - Lightning

Note: All following abilities are at lvl 6/10

Trilateral Wiltcross Deals Lightning DMG equal to 100% of Acheron's ATK to a single
(Basic ATK - ST) enemy.

Octobolt Flash Gains 1 points of "Slashed Dream." Inflicts 1 stacks of "Crimson Knot"
(Skill - Blast) on a single target enemy and deals Lightning DMG equal to 160% of
Acheron's ATK to them, as well as Lightning DMG equal to 60% of
Acheron's ATK to adjacent targets.

Slashed Dream Launches 3 Rainblades and 1 Stygian Resurge successively, dealing

Cries in Red at most Lightning DMG equal to 372% of Acheron's ATK to a single
(Ultimate - AoE) target enemy, and dealing at most Lightning DMG equal to 300% of
Acheron's ATK to other targets.

Rainblade: Deals Lightning DMG equal to 24 of Acheron's ATK to a

single target enemy and removes up to 3 stacks of Crimson Knot from
them. When Crimson Knot is removed, immediately deal 1 instance of
Lightning DMG equal to 15% of Acheron's ATK to all enemies. Each
stack of Crimson Knot removed will increase this DMG multiplier up to
60%.

Stygian Resurge: Deals Lightning DMG equal to 120% of Acheron's

ATK to all enemies and removes all stacks of Crimson Knot.

During the Ultimate, Crimson Knot cannot be inflicted on enemies.

Note: 24% x3 ST + 60% ×3 AoE + 120% AoE + 150% ST x 1.6 (2

other nihility teammates) = 835.2% Total Ultimate Multiplier at Lvl 10
(Only accounting for ST situations, total multiplier is higher for 3
Targets. 1795% for 3 targets and 2755% for 5.)

Nothing actually changed numbers wise, V2 is just a rewording.

Atop Rainleaf Hangs When Slashed Dream reaches 9 point(s), the Ultimate can be
Oneness unleashed. During the Ultimate, deplete enemies' Toughness
(Talent - Enhance) regardless of Weakness Types and reduce all enemies' All-Type RES
by 20% until the end of the Ultimate.
When any unit inflicts debuffs on an enemy target while using an
ability, Acheron gains 1 point of Slashed Dream and inflicts Crimson
Knot on the enemy target. This effect can be triggered up to 1 time per
action. If the used ability inflicts debuff on multiple enemies, 1 stack of
Crimson Knot will be inflicted on the enemy with the most Crimson
Knot stacks.
When Acheron is on the battlefield and after an enemy target leaves
the battlefield or is defeated, their Crimson Knot stacks will be
transferred to the enemy target with the most current Crimson Knot
stacks.

Quadrivalent Attacks the enemy. At the start of every wave, deals Lightning DMG
Ascendance equal to 200% of Acheron’s ATK to all enemies, as well as reduces
(Technique) Toughness of all enemies irrespective of Weakness Types. When
inflicting Weakness Break, triggers the Lightning Weakness Break
effect, and causes Acheron to gain 1 points of Slashed Dream and
inflicts 1 stack(s) of Crimson Knot on a single random enemy the next
time her Ultimate is cast.
If the enemy has Red Karma, they will be immediately defeated and
will not enter combat. The Technique Point is not spent if the attack
does not hit an enemy.

Note: Despite the wording, you don't need to break to be able to gain 1
SD. They're independent. You gain 1 SD for breaking, and one after
your first ult of the wave.

If non-elite, Red Karma will automatically apply and this will happen:

Red Karma:

Thunder Core When Rainblade from Acheron's Ultimate hits enemy targets with
(Trace 1) Crimson Knot, her DMG increases by 30%, staking up to a maximum
of 3 stack(s) and lasting for 3 turn(s). Also additionally deals 6 hits of
DMG when Stygian Resurge is triggered. Every hit deals Lightning
DMG equal to 25% of Acheron's ATK to a single enemy target and is
viewed as Ultimate DMG

The Abyss When there are 1/2 other character(s) following the Path of Nihility in
(Trace 2) the team, increase the DMG of Acheron's Basic ATK, Skill, and
Ultimate to 115%/160% of the original DMG.

Red Oni At the start of battle, immediately gain 5 point(s) of Slashed Dream and
(Trace 3) apply 5 stack(s) of Crimson Knot to a random enemy.

While it is only a 20-30% (15-25% if ult
rotations are made up for via teams)
difference in favor of Signature, her Signature
also improves Ultimate Rotations significantly
as empty bubbles is an additional ult stack
per skill. Silverwolf’s LC is also a possible
replacement, only 10% or less behind
Signature in most cases.

Pros + Cons
Extremely High DMG Ceiling due to high Limited in terms of Light Cone Options
multipliers

Lots of Self Buffs Limited in Team Options (This means that

teams like Swan - Kafka or especially Pela -
SW will currently be her best at E0. But this
does not mean they’re the best long term.
Simply that they’re the best placeholder
teams as of V2.)

Unique Kit/Playstyle Heavily reliant on her “Abyss” Trace

Ultimate can be fully buffed by both Sparkle Without E2, It is virtually impossible to justify
and Bronya. running Harmony - Nihility. The only case
where it’s plausible is E0S1 Sparkle with a
perfect rotation.

2T Ult is easily possible at E0S1 but tedious, While 2T Ult is possible at E0, it’s highly
with a highly comfortable 3T Ult. reliant on having her Signature Lightcone. If
she doesn’t have her Signature LC, it is nigh-
impossible for most to achieve a 2T Ult
rotation. 3T Ult remains possible without
Signature and highly comfortable however.

Relics & Ornaments

Izumo, Gods of Innumerable Misery and Izumo, Blades of End
and Beginning
2-Pc: Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When entering
battle, if at least one other ally follows the same Path as the
wearer, then the wearer's CRIT Rate increases by 12%.

Considered to be her Best in Slot Ornament due to the 24CV

and 12% ATK provided. The reason for this is due to her
lacking ATK in base kit compared to DMG% and her best F2P
option being a 72% DMG buff in of itself. However if you’re
already set CR and ATK wise, it would be more beneficial to
go for the second option on this list.

Salsotto's Moving City and Salsotto's Terminator Line

-Pc: Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the

wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 50% or higher, the
wearer's Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG increases by
15%.

Her second BiS, and a far superior option to Izumo if one

doesn’t need the additional ATK% and CR. The reason for this
is very simple, Acheron loves Ult. This boosts Ult as well as
provides 16CV. This means lots of dmg.

Note: Ultimately the difference between Salsotto V Izumo is

just substats. Actual difference between the two is highly
negligible.

Recliner of the Sigonian Mother-Goddess and Sigonia's Knot

of Cyclicality

2-Pc: When enemies are defeated, the wearer's CRIT DMG

increases by 4%, up to 10 times.

Great replacement for Izumo and Salsotto when it comes to

content such as Pure Fiction, where Acheron will be easily
getting up to 10 kills which means easy 40CV. This is
especially easy due to her technique.

However, Izumo and Salsotto are more universal and not as

tied down to Pure Fiction.

Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters

2-Pc: Increases DMG dealt to enemies with debuff by 12%.
4-Pc: Increases CRIT Rate by 4%. The wearer deals 8%/12%
increased CRIT DMG to enemies with at least 2/3 debuffs.
After the wearer inflicts a debuff on enemy targets, the
aforementioned effects increase by 100%, lasting for 1 turn(s).

Easily her best relic set. Even with Quantum Set with
Quantum Weakness, this set is far ahead for Acheron. The
reason is due to the 12% dmg, 8 total Crit rate, and 24% crit
dmg. It’s an absurdly strong relic set and will effectively have
Perma Uptime with Signature Lightcone or the other Nihility
you’ll be running with her.

Band of Sizzling Thunder

2-Pc: Increases Lightning DMG by 10%.

4-Pc: When the wearer uses their Skill, increases the wearer's
ATK by 20% for 1 turn(s).
A pair of classic sunglasses worn by one of the lead singers,
Janis, whose chrome lenses reflect a blue hue.

An amazing secondary option that is about 6-10% worse than

Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters. Considerable due to the ATK
buff provided, as Acheron wants a fair bit of ATK% due to her
lacking ATK in base kit.

Relic Stats: ATK% Orb > Lightning DMG% Orb (Negligible difference, choose based on
substats), ATK% Rope, SPD Boots > ATK% (ATK% > SPD if E0S1 Sparkle for E0S1 Acheron
or E2S1 Acheron), and Crit DMG/Rate Body.

CRIT > SPD > ATK when it comes to Substats, leaning toward ATK% substats over SPD if
Lightning DMG% Orb.

Ult Energy (Simplified Examples)

2T Ult Hyperspeed Debuffers (140+ to 164+ SPD)
(E2/E0S1)
T2 Acheron = 4 Ultimate Stacks (2 via E2 or S1 activating talent. 2 via skill)

T2 Pela/Guinafein/SW = 2 minimum, possibly higher depending on their ult

uptime. Pela can force 2T ult, allowing for 3 min.

T2 Pela/Guinafein/SW = 2 minimum, possibly higher depending on their ult

uptime

T2 Gallagher (Questionable) = 2 minimum via Ult into Enhanced Basic. If

forcing 2T Ult with Pela, then Gallagher is unnecessary as 4 + 3 + 2 is enough
for 2T Ult.

3T Ult (E0) 3T Acheron = 3

3T Pela/SW = 3 minimum, likely higher as Pela will definitely ult. So 4 is

realistic. That's 7.

3T Guinafein/SW = 3 minimum, which is beyond what is needed. It is easily

possible to 3T Ult

2T Ult 2T Acheron = 6
(E2S1)
2T Pela = Pela can force 2T Ult, allowing for 3 min.

Harmony (Bronya/Sparkle)

Sustain (Gallagher/Aventurine)

Note: Possible to 1T Ult with E2S1, but highly tedious and uncomfortable. May
require double Nihility

Possible Teams at E0/E0S1/E2S1

E0 Acheron (Best Team for F2P)

E0 Acheron (Alt Team)

E0 Acheron (Alternative Team for F2P)

Note: Pela can be replaced with SW To focus down ST Elites. If planning to run
Black Swan over Guinaifen, recommended to have E1 with Kafka LC.

E0S1/E2S0 Acheron (May replace SW/Pela with Sparke/Bronya if fine

without comfortable rotations.)

E2S1 Acheron

E2S1 Acheron

General Notes: Gallagher may be replaced with Aventurine, who is her second Best Sustain.
However, Gallagher is recommended over Aventurine due to being able to enable Acheron
more consistently and being a completely F2P 4*. If you somehow do not have Gallagher, and
do not have Aventurine, then Luocha or Fu Xuan will do. HuoHuo, unless at E2, is better left
to other teams that can make use of her Energy Buffs. At S1 or E2S1, Aventurine is her best
sustain naturally.

Bronya is recommended over E0 Sparkle, if Bronya is E1S1. However even in such a case, it
is far more comfortable to use E0 Sparkle. E0S1 Sparkle is far ahead of E1S1 Bronya for
E2S1 Acheron Teams.

Additional note: For Acheron, it is reasonable to run Kafka - Swan. In fact, in terms of
total team dmg, it is easily her best team (because limited team options). It’s an
improvement over SW/Pela and easy to manage SP wise. However, the reason I’m not
covering it here is because it’s overkill and you’d rather be using Kafka - Swan on your
second team with Ruan Mei which is the best team for Kafka - Swan. If you do have the
resources to afford Kafka - Swan - Acheron, then it is recommended (Only for now as a
placeholder team.). Otherwise, SW/Pela or Guinafein/Pela(SW) is better for you.

Note: Please read Extra Info and Important notice. And do not take this as absolute fact, this
is only V2. Calcs in of themselves at the moment, are meaningless as numbers will be
adjusted and newer results will come as a result of better tc methods being found for Acheron.
Do not pull based on anything in this Guide this early into Beta and Acheron calcs.

FAQ
1. Difference between Izumo and Salsotto? Negligible. Based on build/substats
ultimately.
2. E6 means the game registers her skill and basic as ult dmg, doesn't mean it's the
same as using her ult nor is it the same as using an ult. Any benefits during ult won't
apply to skill and basic for E6. E6 does not trigger E4. This does mean skill and basic
trigger any ult dmg specific blessings or conditions etc.
3. Even at S1, Good Night and Sleep Well is far ahead of other Light Cone options for
Acheron with the exception of Silverwolf Lightcone which is ahead of S5 GNSW as
well as BP LC which is slightly ahead of GNSW S1 (If BP LC is at S5).
4. Crimson Knot is not a debuff. Nor can it stack beyond 9 total.
5. You can pre-farm everything right now, save for Izumo.
6. Ruan Mei is viable, but only at E2S1 with Hyperspeed Acheron.
7. Yes she can 2T ult.
8. It is highly possible that her numbers and kit will receive adjustments by the time of V3
Beta, so it is not recommended to finalize builds and sets yet.
9. While running Harmony for E0 Acheron is possible, it’s only recommended if E2S1
Sparkle. E0S1 Sparkle only closes the gap, but doesn’t actually show significant
improvement over Double Nihility compared to her cost.
10. This guide does not cover 0 Cycle Teams. But yes, Double Nihility with Harmony over
sustain is a viable set up with the right builds and investment.
11. Slashing Dreams does not stack during Ult.
12. Red Karma is automatically applied to non-elite enemies, giving a guarantee for
Acheron to instantaneously kill them in both SU and ordinary content without starting
the fight. However, this does not apply to Elite Enemies naturally. As per new demos
and the Dim text below, both SU Rewards and Combat rewards drop via Technique
instant kill.

13. Ultimate All-Type Res Down is indeed a debuff. Meaning will proc 4PC Pioneer without
Signature/at E0 during Ultimate. (Symbol down = Debuff). Confirmed further via
Private Server.

14. Acheron’s Red Oni trace doesn’t split the 5 CK across five enemies, or some shit. It’s
just all directed to one enemy.
15. While Acheron’s updated technique does look appealing, in terms of Memory of Chaos
and general content, you’d want to use Pela technique as it applies Def shred and
gives you a SD/CK stack in one go. The only case in which this would change, is if
Memory of Chaos becomes 3 wave and filled with random minions/adds. For general
content? You’re usually faced with 1 wave content. Acheron’s main use technique
wise is to instant kill enemies with Karma, or for Pure Fiction purposes due to it being
filled with minions/adds and 3 wave.

Acheron's sort-of-straightforward mechanics (v1 - To be updated):

ultimate/CK:
- contrary to the rumours, it does not automatically activate upon reaching 9 SD stacks
- CK stacks **do** transfer to mob with next-highest number of knots during ult if the
knot holder hits 0 HP
- CK stacks are capped at **9 stacks total**. you will not stack if there are 9 stacks on
the field combined
- CK stacks carry over to the next wave, but the mechanics behind this are unclear at
the moment
- breaks yield SD/CK stacks if the breaking attack does not apply a debuff on its own
- thunder core DMG% is applied **dynamically**: every rainblade will apply the 30%
**before** damage is dealt
- AoE debuffs place CK on random enemies when there is no CK on field
- CK distribution from phase/wave transition is random
- when stygian removes all CK stacks at the end of the ult, it does not grant any extra
damage

the abyss:
- multipliers are multiplicative to the final damage value instead of being added to the
DMG% layer

light cone:
- is not EHR-locked. it has a guaranteed chance of applying the debuff (100% fixed
chance no matter what)
- yields SD/CK

other light cones:

- acheron can eat QPQ energy
- trend LC yields stacks **per activation** (and by extension any debuffing LC)
- trend LC prioritizes unit with highest CK

black swan interactions:

- tech yields SD/CK stacks on successful application
- A4 (application of arcana on enemy entry) yields SD/CK stacks on successful
application but **only on SUMMONS**
- the criteria that allows A4 to stack SD/CK in PF is currently unknown. but there have
been cases of both stacking and no stacking upon mob entry
- arcana detonations do **not** yield SD/CK stacks despite technically "applying" the
debuff on enemy turns

kafka:
- FUA yields SD/CK stacks (shock)
- ult yields SD/CK stacks (shock)

guinaifen:
- firekiss does not yield SD/CK stacks

Significant thanks to Kafka mains for the above information.

“Why don’t you provide your own calcs?”

1. I don’t use spreadsheet calcs but rather a diff method. My current calcs themselves will remain private till at most,
Acheron release (If I find them necessary to share due to differing results with other calcs or to add credibility to the
guide). For the reason that beta can lead to significant changes which would render my calcs meaningless. (And by
that point, misinformation would spread as a result of them. For example, LC calcs by hunter before being fully
updated were spread all over Discord and without proper credit nor did they link the actual sheet.)
2. In and of themselves, the calcs are mostly the same result as other calcs. With minor differences in rare cases that
weren’t accounted for by other calcs.

Very Important Notice

For the same reason that I do not share my calcs at the moment, I highly discourage people from using this guide as an
ultimate truth or something to use as an absolute for building teams. These are early calcs and ideas, early into Beta. The
purpose of this guide is to clarify misconceptions or unknowns about her kit, explain her kit, and provide the core basic
ideas of what teams most players will want and the why. As well as basic understanding of her energy rotations. This is
also why I heavily avoided the topic of E6 teams, Black Swan - Kafka, complex rotations over multiple cycles, and the like.
As this will likely be meaningless by V3 Beta and by then, misinformation will have been spread.

Naturally, as this is only V2 Of Beta, major changes to her numbers or kit are on the table. And thus, the teams listed are
not to be taken as the absolute nor as something to build for at the current moment. Take all calcs, teams, etc with a grain
of salt till Acheron’s release.
