Anchor1: Good morning, Augustinians!

I am Earl Joaquin Tan

Anchor2: and I am John Fernan Tejano. You're watching GP2TV.

Anchor1: giving you the latest news for today.

Anchor2: coming hot from barangay platero, our news caster and mathematician, Anthony Competente,
has someone to talk to about the upcoming elections of president here in the Philippines.

Anchor1: take it away, Anthony.

Anthony: Thank you, Earl, and John John. Here we have Rayeajn David from barangay platero. So
Rayeajn, how may I help you?

Rayeajn: Hi Anthony, I am eager to know if there is a chance that a female candidate or Kieltimus can be
elected as the next president of the Philippines.

Anthony: ahh I see, let me help you widen your understanding using the concept of probability. (Explain
the solution)

Rayeajn: Oh, I get it now thanks so much for helping me, Anthony.

Anthony: You're very much welcome Rayeajn! I'm glad that I helped. Now, back to you, Earl.

Anchor1: wow! The study of probability can be very helpful sometimes.

The value that we will learn from this problem is the value of honesty and freedom of speech. The
value of honesty is relevant because the presidents who will run in the elections need to be honest
about what they will do to make the country a better place, and the voters can know who will be
better suited to be the president of the country. The value of freedom of speech can help the voters
have their opinion on each candidate running for president, and the voters have the freedom to
choose who they want to be the next president.
Anchor2: That'll be all for the news today. Once again I'am John Fernan Tejano

Anchor1: and I am Earl Joaquin Tan, you're watching GP2TV

Anchor2: 'till next time!
