Two young ladies are getting ready for the Detroit march to freedom while listening to
the radio.
Licheng: GOOD MORNING! USA I got a feeling that it's gonna be a wonderful day, the sun
in the sky has a smile on his face, and he's shining a salute to the American race , kakaka,
the country of freedom, oooo, yeah, today we have quite a quirky day, Black, afro-americans
causing trouble??? hmmm we don't want that do we?
2 girls start walking towards the big event, talking about how excited they are.
Oneiris: : Although I am excited, I can't help but feel somehow scared. I hope no one gets
hurt today.
Char:You're right about that, but I have a feeling today will be different. We're going to fight
for our place in this country, and that's stronger than fear.
Oneiris:(nod) let's put an end once and for all to all those labels unfairly placed on us all
these years. it's been enough
Li:O hi, mornin’ (just hand shake) how are you feeling today?
Oneiris: Good morning(charlotte:’morning indeed),pretty exciting, ready for the march.
Li: So what is this all about?
Oneiris: Is a peaceful march, fighting for our rights and our place in the country.
Niccolo: (shouting) what are you doing here in the streets instead of the fields working
Tiffany: You are so disgusting, you should never be allowed to be free.
Li: Ooookay calm yourself, ‘true’ american fellows, we don't want this on tv.
Niccolo:Calm down? We are spitting facts here.
Tiffany: Us Americans are the only ones that deserve to live here, this land is ours.
Char: You Americans destroyed my land and brought me here to serve your free, WE
deserve the same treatment, because after all we are humans too.
Niccolo: But you are black, you don’t matter at all.
Li: That’s enough sir, today August 28, 1963, very much a strange day, Afro-americans
raising their voice, this is possibly a time in history, where things are about to change…
ACT 2
Niccolo y Li eran candidatos a presidentes.
Electionsss
Licheng: I will change things, it’s not a secret that we have been mistreating brother and
sisters in our country, friends who helped us build very much everything we got today, is
about time we play it fair for the afro americans, and give them the same treatment as they
deserve.
Niccolo: Ladies and Gentlemans of America, I stand here hearing ideas of others'
perspectives of life for afro american people, I stand here hoping this will never be a reality. If
you trust me I can assure you, my American fellows, I won't let that change ever happen.

CONCLUSION
Niccolo: "Equality is like a journey, not just a place. Let's keep going together,
learn from the past, and make a future where everyone feels included."
Charlotte: "Every person's voice is important, and even small acts of standing up
for what's right matter. Let's be brave, like the people in the civil rights
movement, and remember that we're still working towards fairness for
everyone."
Oneiris: "The civil rights movement shows us that we can make things better. We
can be the ones to start making changes, speak up for what's fair, and create a
tomorrow where everyone is treated equally."
Li: "Being truly free means everyone gets to enjoy it. We can break unfairness
together and make a world where everyone gets to live freely."
Tiffany: "As we take steps toward fairness, we're building a path to a future
where everyone is welcome, and everyone is treated fairly. Let's keep going
together towards that future."
