1 What to do next

1.1 A non-refundable deposit of 1,200 USD must be paid in order to complete your registration. The
deposit is minimum 3,600 USD for Faculty of Medicine, 3,300 USD for Faculty of Dentistry and
2,800 USD for Faculty of Pharmacy. You can either make online payment through
“https://epay.emu.edu.tr/” or pay via a bank transfer. The bank account details are available at
https://www.emu.edu.tr/fees. You must state your name, surname and student number, while
carrying out all the payment procedures.

1.2 Once you have completed your payment, you will receive a confirmation letter from our
University. Please do not travel before completing the payment specified for you.

1.3 All the procedures related to your study at EMU (Online Payment, English Proficiency Exam
Application, etc.) can be completed through your student portal. https://students.emu.edu.tr. (Password
for your student portal is your ID/Passport Number which you have entered to the system during your
application process.)

1.4 Students who are registered to English-medium programs but fail to provide a valid “English
Proficiency Examination” certificate, are required to take the “EMU English Proficiency Exam”.
Detailed information regarding the list of valid English Proficiency Certificates and/or EMU English
Proficiency Exam can be accessed at https://fleps.emu.edu.tr/en.

1.5 Before planning your journey to Northern Cyprus, you should consult the nearest North Cyprus
Representative Office (http://www.mfa.gov.ct.tr/) or Turkish Embassy (www.mfa.gov.tr) for visa
requirements.

2 Financial Details

2.1 We would like to remind you that, according to University Rules and Regulations, your tuition
fee will not be refunded/transferred regardless of any circumstances, with the exception of visa
rejection.

2.2 In addition to the 1,200 USD deposit, the remaining amount of the tuition fee must be paid in full
before the last day of the Add and Drop period. The deposit minimum 3,600 USD for Faculty of
Medicine, 3,300 USD for Faculty of Dentistry and 2,800 USD for Faculty of Pharmacy. Please note
that late payments are subject to interest charges. For more information about tuition fees, please visit

2.3 Students who will study at the EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School (FLEPS)
should pay the tuition fee specified for the FLEPS.

2.4 In case of any deportation during your arrival to the country, the tuition fee will not be
refunded/transferred.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
According to the immigration rules and regulations of North Cyprus, students are required to bring
and present the authentic copies of their Admission Letters, Diplomas and Transcripts during their
arrival to the country for the first-time. We strongly advise you to read the rules and regulations

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Authentic/Master copies of the following documents should be submitted to the Registrar’s Office
within the shortest time after the arrival in the country:

· High School/ College/ Higher Secondary Education diplomas and their translated copies in
English (if applicable).

· Exam Results (if any) (IGCSE, NECO, WAEC, A-Level, O-Level, etc.)

· Four (4) photographs (approximately 4 cm. x 6 cm.)

· A photocopy of your passport

· A copy of your admission letter
