NOTICE
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR GRADUATE SCHOOL
(CONTINUING STUDENTS ONLY) - ALL SESSIONS
FIRST SEMESTER 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR

All Continuing Students are to note that registration for the First Semester 2022/2023
Academic Year will take place as follows:

Registration Period: Monday, August 22, 2022 - Sunday, September 4, 2022


(Both Evening and Weekend Students)

Start of Teaching: Monday. September 5. 2022 (Evening Students)


Friday, September 9, 2022 (Weekend Students)

The Registration procedure shall involve three main steps:

Step 1: Payment of Fees


All Students are required to pay the appropriate Academic Facility User Fees at any Access
Bank branch.
 All MBA and MPhil Students are required to pay five thousand, six hundred and
fifteen Ghana cedis, fifty pesewas (Gh₵5,615.50) as the Facility User Fees at Access
Bank or Ecobank .
 All MBA Distance Learning Students are required to pay four thousand, nine hundred
and eighty seven Ghana cedis, fifty pesewas (Gh₵4,987.50) as the Facility User Fees at
Access Bank or Ecobank.
 All MBA Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation are required to pay five thousand,
seven hundred and thirty Ghana cedis (Gh₵5,730) as the Facility User Fees at Access
Bank or Ecobank.
 All students are expected to pay additional Gh₵350 Ghana cedis as miscellaneous
fees.
 All international students are to pay 50% of their academic user fee (US$10,000); the
prevailing exchange rate will be determined at the bank.

Ensure that you quote correctly your Student Identification Number on all the pay-in-slips.

Log on to https://www.interpayafrica.com/upsa/student or follow the link on upsa.edu.gh to


disburse the payment.
Step 2: Course Registration
Proceed to do the on-line course registration. Access the on-line registration portal by logging
on to http://upsasip.com/student.

NB:
The above link takes students into the login portal requiring student to fill the index number and
the password.

Index number is the officially assigned eight digit numbers and the password is student’s date
of birth. Eg., a student born on 15th May, 1990 will read 15-05-1990 as the password.

Print out two (2) copies of Proof of Registration Slip upon successful completion of the on-line
registration.

Step 3:  Submission and Endorsement of Proof of Registration Slips


Submit the Proof of Registration Slips to the office of the Senior Assistant Registrar of the
Graduate School for endorsement after which one (1) copy of the Slip will be given back to
you.

Students experiencing any difficulties in registering may come to the reception or visit the
office of the Senior Assistant Registrar at the Graduate School. You can as well contact the

Note Carefully:

 All students are to note that late registration will not be entertained. Students who register
late risk paying penalty ranging from GH¢50.00 – GH¢400.00 depending on the week of
registration.

 Any student who fails to register within the stipulated period of registration shall be
prevented from taking part in the end of semester’s examinations.

 Students who have any queries concerning the courses they are to register should contact
the Assistant Registrar.

 Students are strongly advised to keep in a safe place all copies of payment receipts and
endorsed proof of registration slip. In the event of any difficulty arising from a student’s
registration, the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies or Academic Affairs Directorate
shall demand an inspection of all receipts and registration materials.
