EXERCISE 2 MEETING
1. Attending means to be present.
2. Chair in this context means the person who is responsible to guide the meeting.
3. Agenda is the list of items to be discussed at the meeting.
4. Items are the objects that are listed.
5. “I updated” means the chair of the meeting add some new points to the agenda.
6. “Any other Business” is a section in the meeting that serves as an opportunity for
attendees to raise issues or topics that weren't previously listed on the agenda.
7. Absentees means the people who don’t attend the meeting.
8. Prior commitment is an appointment or other activities that were planned before the
current event.
9. Standing in means attend the meeting on behalf of the absentee.
