II. My plan
1. Exam instruction
- Answer on the question paper
- Seated along the seating plan
- Don’t open the paper until you’re instructed to do so
- Mustn’t communicate with other students
- Raise your hand if you have any questions
- No unauthorized item like phones, electronic device
- No correction fluid
- No barcode

2. Things I should do
a. Things I need to bring
- Pens
- Pencils
- Calculator
- Ruler
- Protractor
- Compass

b. Thing I should do before taking the exam

- Check if it’s the correct exam paper
- Read the instruction in the first page
- Write my information in the first page
c. Things I should do after taking the exam
- Check if I have entered the my info in the first paper
- Check if I have neatly crossed through any rough work
- Stay seated and be silent until you can leave the room

3. Other information
- Points for each question is in the bracket [ ]
- The exam takes 60% in your total score
- Exam has both multiple choice question and long-answer question
- Exam papers often takes more than 10 pages
- IGCSE Math exam often takes about 1h30
- There will be a hard question at the final page
- You need to show your work in the long answer question or you won’t
have full point
- Skip the hard question and go back to it when you’ve done the other
- Try to have as much point as you can by showing your work, guessing
the answer, etc
