He received his Ph.D. in Public Relations and Publicity from Selcuk University in Turkiye. His scholarly interests range widely, from public diplomacy, international media, and new media to consumer culture, Turkish modernization, and communication sociology. His work has been published in several communication and media journals. He also published a book titled “Consumption Culture and Advertising in the Context of Turkish Modernization.” He has taught in the areas of public diplomacy, history of communication, consumer culture, Turkish modernization, and intercultural communication.
