To further improve ICT training in Nigeria and prepare graduates for the global IT
market, NCS and Cpn can take several steps. Firstly, they can enhance practical
training by providing more hands-on experience and real-world projects. This will
help graduates develop practical skills that are in demand in the industry.
Secondly, NCS and Cpn can strengthen industry collaborations by partnering with
IT companies and organizations. This can include guest lectures, internships, and
mentorship programs, allowing students to gain exposure to real-world IT
scenarios and learn from experienced professionals.

Additionally, updating the curriculum to reflect current trends and technologies is

crucial. This ensures that graduates are equipped with the latest knowledge and
skills required in the global IT market. Regularly reviewing and updating the
curriculum will help graduates stay competitive and adaptable.

Furthermore, NCS and Cpn can encourage students to pursue relevant

certifications, such as those offered by globally recognized organizations like
Cisco, Microsoft, or CompTIA. These certifications validate skills and knowledge,
enhancing graduates' employability in the global IT market.

Lastly, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development is

essential. NCS and Cpn can organize workshops, seminars, and conferences to
keep graduates updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

By implementing these measures, NCS and Cpn can enhance ICT training in
Nigeria, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared and competitive in the global IT
market.
