Ingredients:
7 small chicken drumsticks 6 slices ginger
6 tablespoons sesame oil 6 pieces garlic cloves
2 tablespoons soy sauce a little brown rock sugar
2 tablespoons rice wine 1 bunch Thai basil
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce a few red chillies (optional)
Instructions:
1. First, add 5 tablespoons of sesame oil to the wok. Then, add ginger
slices and garlic cloves. Fry for 1 minute.
2. Next, fry the chicken drumsticks for 3 minutes. Add soy sauce, dark soy
sauce and rice wine.

4. Then, add the rest of the sesame oil to the wok. Add brown rock sugar
and cook until it melts completely.
5. Next, add the Thai basil on top of the chicken. Stir-fry for about 4

A glimpse of Germany
By Cindy Wong
There are many traditional celebrations in Germany throughout the year. One of 20
them is Oktoberfest. It is an annual folk festival held in Munich. It usually lasts
for 16 to 18 days, from mid-September to the first Sunday of October. The first
Oktoberfest was held in 1810. During this grand festival, people dance the
‘Chicken Dance’, drink the world-famous German beer, and join in the
traditional costume parades.
To better understand Germany, you must visit it and witness its magic yourself.
