  DETAILS OF PRODUCTION
 On 25 March 2021 a play that was kept at the National Cultural Center called The
Other Woman nothing to laugh about that was written and directed by Jamel Grah
ame. A play that sought to embody the amalgamation of neglect,laughter , and ign
orance that largely characterizes the epidemic of a man and his multiple love affai
r in Guyana. The play had a lot of laughter, excitement and curve-ball scenes. It w
as filled with wonderful cast members who played there characters very well and t
he play had beautiful props. The casting members were Lydon “Jumbie” Jones, C
orwin Mars , Clemencio Goddette and Mranda Austins. The characters are Corbin,
Jumbie, Clemenico, Jumbie Wife and Miranda.
  SUMMARY OF PRODUCTION
 The play was about a man named Jumbie who was having an affair with more tha
n one females and one over heard about the affairs and the other female that he ha
s been living with and came to address the situation at the hous, but didn't know th
at they were much more things that she would find out about Jumbie.Jumbie who t
ried to distract her so that she would leave. Clemencio one of Jumbie lover also sh
owed up to same house not knowing that it was a terrible thing to do. The two mee
t up and started a conversation on who belongs where. Deep into a conversation th
e two was about to fight and everything was about to become more hectic. When
Corwin showed up and suddenly started to part the two asking what the problem
was. After finding out that the problem was that they were sharing the same lover
and that one had wanted the other to leave Corwin then asked. Who is the man tha
t is causing this issue. Not knowing that the man was Jumbie. Corwin then started
to laugh like he knew something and that something was not right about the
situation with Jumbie. Wondering what was so funny the two ladies stood as Corw
in busted out and told them that Jumbie was also his lover, Now that everything ha
d taken a wild turn the three was there arguing and trying to figure out what is hap
pening after Jumbie came out of the house and saw what was going on outside his
house after hearing the noise and commotions.He didn’t know that things would ta
ke a much different direction when Corwin picked up a wood that he was about to
us as a weapon on Jumbie demanding answers or someone would get hit, after the
four kept going with the noise and more commotions an old lady came out of the
same house that Jumbie lives in to see what was all the noise everyone was shocke
d and clueless and asked her who she was she then proceeds to tell them that she i
s Jumbie’s wife there is where the scene ends leaving the audience with questions
that needed to be answered and also wanting to know what happened to Jumbie.
  ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTION
 As the play's title suggests, the message was spurred by the announcement of an af
fair that was being played out, which resulted in the creation of the the show nothi
ng to laugh about the other woman. The play addressed the themes of chaos,
 anger, confusion,plot twists and most importantly laughter to an attentive audience
seated at the Georgetown Guyana at the National Cultural Center . Jamel Graham
e, never one to shy away from exploring and making laughter and joy come to the
faces of the audience and also of the youths of Guyana , his latest theatrical offeri
ng that delivers his signature blend of a strong cast, a solid script and no shortage
of high-wire domestic drama and comedy. It's great entertainment and life lessons
in a humorous package.
  Impact of production
 The impact of this production, is to show how cheating has become a modern thin
g and many people are comfortable with doing such. But quite often, according to
experts, these acts of wanting attention and love from multiple persons all at once
are the result of parental negligence and a dysfunctional home environment. The p
lot thickens, however, when Jumbie lost himself in the world of having multiple af
fairs even though he has a wife at home and evenan affair with a man. That's simp
ly a recipe for catastrophe that just shows that Jumbie must do so under the roof of
his wife or while having a wife meaning that he need to stay with his wife but also
needs other lovers. However he must find others that will meet his needs that his
wife won’t and in that case he went out to find someone that could satisfy him. Bu
t that wasn’t enough as he had to find someone else that could satisfy although he
already had two. But wasn’t two enough Jumbie even went on to find a third one
which was a man the impact of this production also showed having multiple
lovers has been normalized even when other persons are not aware of the situation
that they are in until they find out and everything ends up ending terrible in most
cases..
