Why was BRICS form

The BRICS nations initially formed to focus on economic

cooperation. This means they aimed to:
 Increase trade between member countries.
 Attract foreign investment.
 Boost economic growth for all members.
Over time, BRICS has expanded its focus to other areas.
Here's a broader look at their work:
 Political and Security Cooperation: BRICS nations
discuss global issues and work towards solutions
together.
 Financial Cooperation: They've created institutions
like the New Development Bank to support
infrastructure projects and provide financial
assistance.
 Cultural and People-to-People Exchanges: BRICS
countries promote cultural understanding and
collaboration among their citizens.
So, BRICS works on a range of issues, but economic
cooperation remains a core aspect of their collaboration.
