Pin’ing a Conversation means that you want that conversation or Person or Group to be on the TOP of
the Whats App Messages List.

The other person is not aware nor he will ever get any information that his or her conversation is
Pinned.

Its a very handy feature of Whats App to Pin Messages on the Top of the all Messages.

However ou can only PIN Maximum Three Conversations only.

and IF you have opted in for Whats BETA with Multi Device Login, the PIN OPTION is disabled

When you “pin" somebody in whatsapp, their chat with you remains on top of the list regardless of any
other message you receive from any other chat.

You can pin a maximum of 3 groups or individuals or both .The purpose is that you view it on top and
you can view these important people or groups first as they appear on top.

But there is another way of looking at it. You can pin those time wasters on top so that you can avoide
those and view the rest too.

I have pinned some unavoidable groups in which I am not an active participant, I can either view them
at leisure or totally ignore too.

They will not know that we pinned them.

If you pin a chat in WatsApp, other people also will can't see this. WhatsApp is for the personal chat
only. It is not allow to other to see your massages and chats.

Basically it is like an only me feature. The chat stays on top of your main screen everytime. This doesn't
affect any other users.

Also, you can only pin upto 3 chats and they will be sorted according to the latest message appearing
on top in the 3 pinned chats.
