PHYSICS 12TH
SYLLABUS- IV QUARTER
2023-2024

SUBJECT: PHYSICS GRADE: 12TH

Teachers: José Argueta
E-mail: jose.argueta@esmv.edu.hn
Duration of Period: 8 weeks, Mar 18th - May 24th
Course Description: Do you want to understand how the universe works? Let us study PHYSICS!
High school Physics classes focus first on Classic Mechanics, which includes Mechanics (kinematics, dynamics,
oscillations), E & M (electricity and magnetism), and some other selected topics (waves, fluids, thermodynamics,
optics, etc.). Briefly defined, PHYSICS is the science that tries to understand the laws of nature and the relationship
between energy and matter.
CLASSROOM POLICIES:
In order to accomplish excellent results and maintain quality during the learning process of the student, it is
important to consider the following guidelines:
● Follow all directions given by your teacher to achieve the best results of the class.
● Display positivity.
● Be in class on time. Respect the class time.
● Making mistakes is part of the class, but you must learn from them.
● Wear your school uniform properly according to the school rules.
● Turn homework/classwork on time, according to specifications. Students will have the opportunity to turn
it in the next day for 50% of the grade and so forth. Your evaluation is going to be reflecting your
punctuality, responsibility and the way you follow directions.
● Bring all the materials needed to class (book, notebook, computer, pen, pencil, colors, ruler).
● Be respectful of yourself, your teacher and your classmates always (check the rules of the school and the
given guidelines).
● Use a well-organized PHYSICS notebook.
● Since your book is online, always have your OWN computer ready and charged.
● In case of absences or excuses remember to send the corresponding email as soon as possible to
hsexcusasypermisos@esmv.edu.hn.
