answer(taglish)
wala talaga akong balak sumali sa dance varsity at first, kasi class
president ako ng room namin dati at running for high honors kaya
kala ko di ko kaya, pero ininvite ako ni sir joey na sumali since
nakitaan niya ako ng potential sumayaw at need talaga nila ng
dancers at yun since marunong naman ako ay sumali na rin ako
Yes i have, nung mga bago palang na overwhelmed tlaga ako kasi
sabay sabay sila and limited lang yung time cause i have classes to
attend, assignments, activities and deadlines to fullfill so nung di
ko Mastered yung pag handle ng time to isa to sa challenges and
also fatigue and burnout kasi physically and mentally exhausting
sha.
takdang-aralin. Ang extracurricular ay tumutulong sa akin na
makahanap at magbuo ng bagong kasanayan at interes.
Overall, I would say it's my experience because when I was in junior high
school, before entering Holy Rosary, I used to join extra-collegial activities
and I also handled a lot of clubs that makes me boost my confidence. So
when I studied at Holy Rosary Academy of Las Pinas City, we are in the
midst of a pandemic and the only organization that's open is SSG. So by
that time, my teacher encouraged me to join and run for the position of
president and luckily, I got the position and that's what makes me
motivated now. My teachers believe on what I'm capable of.
My experience was joyful because I enjoy what I do, and each day of
dancing brings new learning for me.
I think when the 2nd quarter started, that was really the time when there
were a lot of tasks, and that's when I saw that my participation in
extracurricular activities improved my time management. I developed
strategies to balance my time, enhanced my academic performance, and
also increased my motivation and engagement
in the past i participated in a quiz bee. I was both pressured and motivated
to review every topic that could possibly included.
For example, when the foundation day was approaching, it was really
sudden because we were informed that we would be dancing. At the same
time, the activities and quizzes were scheduled simultaneously, making it
challenging for me to balance dancing and studying. So, after my practice
at school, I would immediately go home to rest and catch up on
assignments and reports for my classes.
Yes, there was a time when my schedule conflicted between
extracurricular and academic activities. For example, I had an online class
in the morning, and at the same time, I had practice with the dance varsity.
They overlapped, so I was contemplating on what to do and which one to
prioritize.
Yes, I have experienced that. When I was still new, it was really
overwhelming because everything was happening simultaneously, and
time was limited due to classes, assignments, activities, and deadlines.
When I hadn't mastered time management, it became one of the
challenges for me. Also, fatigue and burnout were factors because it was
physically and mentally exhausting.
Yes, I have. For example, when the quiz bee day coincided with our PE
performance task, I was 1 minute late in Quiz Bee Competition. In addition,
I was unable to answer our long test in the other subject because the quiz
bee had just ended and I wasn't excused by it.
This paves the way for me to hone my talent further and acquire new
experiences. I've also met more people with similar aspirations in this field.
With this, I was able to communicate with people from various sections
and share my experiences and thoughts. I used to be disappointed because
I couldn't win, but I learned that failing is a skill as well, so it's okay to be
disappointed.
Actually, I was not able to acquire those skills because way back, just like
what I have said before, way back when I was in junior high school, I
already have those skills. So when I entered Holy Rosary and joined their
extracurricular, I noticed that the skills that I have were enhanced through
my extracurricular activities. So in short, I just grew or nurtured in that
extracurricular on Holy Rosary. Thank you.
No. In fact, when I before joined the quiz bee, my classmates and friends
advised me to just do my best. The exact same thing goes for my advisory
teacher. She never put any pressure on me to win; she simply told me to
participate and that whatever result I got was fine.
Yes, I actually enjoyed more interacting with them as social interactions are
the nature of my extracurricular activities.
yes of course its very evident that once you join eca your circle or your
social interaction with the fellow students would wide and for my self my
circle of friends became more complex and alot more people got involved
due to that extracurricular that i joined
Effective time management is crucial; it's challenging at first, but over time,
your body gets used to it, especially when you genuinely enjoy what you're
doing. You become motivated because you have no choice.
The method I used is creating a weekly schedule. Like in the past when
extracurricular and academic activities coincided, I made a weekly
schedule to determine what to prioritize or focus on first.
I usually do tasks where I can get a high grade, such as major and minor
subjects, because I believe that extracurricular activities are just
extracurricular activities that don't count towards academic credit.
Prioritize tasks: Identify which tasks have the highest priority and start
working on them before others.
So I would say that this is the most effective and important strategy that I
utilize, and that is scheduling a lot. And it was a great help for me because I
was able to do all the things that I need in my schedule strictly, so that I
was able to look for the things that I need to be done and prioritize things
that I need to submit or to do in order for me to set things down on time.
ithnk the most and the thing for this is one of the habits that our school
orient to the student the put first things first i believe in this sence this
methid of puting the most important thing before doing others is highly
effective because one of this example in my life is when dealing with the
projects in school i need to first do it if i know that the deadline was near
and if the deadline was quite far i will set aside it for a bit and in terms of
my extracurricular lessel and academic i would do the pomodoro
technique in the first minute i will handle my academic life and later on the
days or the hours of my life i will deal with this extracurricular things
Yes, because of this, I learned to express what I want to show and got to
know myself even more. It gives me the confidence to pursue more of
what I want to achieve, especially in dancing.
For me, the dance varsity has a significant impact because it has given me
abilities and confidence through dance.
Just like what I have said in my early statements, SSG is the only available
extracurricular activity. So that's the specific curriculars that we have
available at that time. So for me, it is the only extracurricular that has
strong impact to both my personal academic work and my serving.
Just like what I have said in my early statements, SSG is the only available
extracurricular activity. So that's the specific curriculars that we have
available at that time. So for me, it is the only extracurricular that has
strong impact to both my personal academic work and my serving.
just like what i said recently the most recent extracurricular i joined was
the SSG campaign and election this extracurricular sadly i lost during the
election but this election make me realize that life is not about winning its
about losing and learning from your chances and learning through that
experience and i think that makes me different from other students who
joined extra curricular activities is that i have something that keeps in my
heart and my mind
Not yet, because as long as I can still balance my studies and dancing, I will
continue. Because if one of them is removed from my routine, it's like
taking away my joy.
Yes, there are times, like with my family and the SSG, where they coincide.
There are family dinners, and I can't join because I choose to prioritize the
SSG. I did that because I know my responsibilities in the organization, and I
am needed there more.
So thankfully, I can say that no. But I don't choose between extracurricular
or academics because I prioritize them both. So I did not experience that.
Just like what I have said, I prioritize something more than academics and
my extracurricular activities, wherein I balance them both that time. And
luckily, I handle them good.
The advice I can give is to find your interests and choose extracurricular
activities that truly bring joy and interest to you. It will inspire you to
allocate time for it.
One thing that I can say is that always have that passion and eagerness to
learn from your fellow students and to serve them. And always cooperate
with your officers because sila yung katuwang when it comes to workloads
of your extracurricular. And always make sure to always weigh your
priorities, manage your time effectively, and choose what to prioritize and
what should be done on time.
Because time is very, you know, it might sound cliche, but time is really
good.
So as a leader, someone who goes into extracurricular activities, you must
prioritize your time. And know how to... Yeah, I guess that's it. Thank you.
i would highly reccomend for the students who wants to join this kind of
extra curricular activities is that first learn what is your purpose or learn
what you really want to do one you join this extracurricular activty if you
reaaly didint know what you want to do or whst inpires you to do it your
inspiration or your motivation to do it will less descipate as the time goes
by and it is really hard to do so but if we know what inspires us or motivate
us it will help us automatically in terms of maintaning our acdemica nd
extra curricular life because i believe once you are really inspired person in
doing such things you yourself will find ways to balance certain things in
your life for it to work all together
