what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In recent years, some people believe that enhancing the quality of life is the most
important aim of science. I partly agree with this opinion.
On the one hand, it is undeniable that science should focus on another aspect of the
world. Firstly, science has an important role in protecting the environment. With the
advent of technological innovations, scientists can have more research about
environmental systems such as ecosystems, and climate patterns so that people can
comprehend natural life. As a result, scientists might drive more technological
innovation for environmental protection and conservation. Secondly, the importance
of science in protecting animals is also noticeable. Science research helps in
understanding the behavior and ecology of various animals, this is crucial for
designing suitable habitats that meet specific demands of some animals. Moreover,
scientists can study and develop some medical methods such as vaccines for highly
contagious diseases in some animals.
On the other hand, with the aforementioned reasons, there are many reasons why I
believe that the most crucial aim of science should be to promote human life. Firstly,
science expands people’s understanding of the world, and might find new theories,
and new materials in order to invent more technological innovations such as
supercars or modern spacecraft. In this way, people’s lives might be improved in
efficiency, convenience, and modernity by these scientist-based innovations. For
example, a tremendous mobile phone firm plans to study and invent a
transportation called teleport, which can help people move immediately to a
particular place. Secondly, scientific research and innovations can drive economic
growth. With a lot of technological innovations, entrepreneurship, new industries,
and productivity have easily improved as transportation and people connecting are
easier.
In conclusion, science is really important in environmental and animal protection. In
my opinion, I hold a belief that science should be focused on improving human lives
instead of other aspects of the world.
