Language is the most important part of culture it brings us to our roots on how our ancestors or
the native on our land speaks and how they communicate, Language is the one who uplifts our cultural
values and our tradition through communicating we introduce our culture to the world and this is where
our children also learn from on the language that we speak this is what we call our “MOTHER TONGUE”

Mother tongue is the most important part of all languages that we need to know because this is
the first language that we heard since we were born and this is also the kind of language wherein our
parents thought us to speak, listen, an communicate it simply means mother tongue is the first language
that we first learn before we learn something in school. Helps us give a definite shape to our feelings and
thoughts. Learning in the mother tongue is also crucial for improving other critical thinking skills, second
language learning, and literacy skills.

Through mother tongue it is important that we use this in teaching because this is the best way
we could teach our student well on the language that they could understand and could simplify their
thoughts and learnings, literally means that if we use mother tongue as a method of communicating to
students they could understand the lesson well and could absorb the process easily without any
questions.
