Bowaon at Totoon with an English translation Falsehood and Truth—is a folktale from
Samar and Leyte.
Spanning between the two islands in the eastern Visayas is the San Juanico Bridge, the
longest (over-water) bridge in the Philippines. It is 2.16 kilometers or 1.34 miles (7,200
feet) long and a height of 41 meters or 131 feet. It crosses the scenic San Juanico strait
between Samar and Leyte

Once upon a time, there were two friends,
Bowaon and Totoon.

They couldn’t find work so
they decided to go away from their place to look

They began their journey in finding a fortune, in this journey they've
experienced different circumstances where Bowaon showed his being
pessimist and impatient, while on the other hand Totoon showed
optimism and kind hearted

When they arrived at King palace they were given a Job, Totoon became the

Secretary of the king while Bowaon as the cook. Bowaon got jealous of Totoon
and he began smearing his friend's name

Falling action
Bowaon plotted several evil plans to smear the name of his friends
totoon, he told the King lies to put his friend in danger

Conclusion
Though Totoon was tested by king because of the lies of his
friends Bowaon, with the help of the ones who he helped, in
exchange of his kindness he was able to succeed all the trials that
the king gave to him
