There is a stark difference between essays and reports. Create a Venn diagram illustrating these
differences, as well as their similarities.
The reason for a report is to pass explicit data on to give the peruser data. The motivation behind an
exposition is to show the way in which well you have figured out the inquiry and can respond to it. An
exposition will contain an end, yet it is uncommon to incorporate proposals.
An exposition is a short abstract creation, which is utilized to depict, present, contend, and break down
the thought or point. Then again, a report is a formal and brief record comprising of discoveries from
down to earth research. It targets examining and investigating the issue under study. An article is
composed based on emotional examination of hypotheses and past exploration, by others and own
thoughts, on the concerned subject. As against, a report is evenhanded and verifiable, which depends
on past exploration, as well as present information and discoveries. An exposition discusses general
realities and occasions alongside the author's very own thoughts and perspectives, on the subject in a
non-fictitious way. Running against the norm, a report contains data which the peruser can use to
distinguish current realities or backing in direction or tackling issues if any.
In a nutshell, Essays are descriptive, subjective and evaluative, whereas, a report is descriptive, objective
and analytical. Essays are mainly used in an academic context, whereas reports are preferred in the field
of research. The report is used to present the researched information in a written format, to the
audience. Conversely, essays are used to identify what the writer knows about the topic and how well
the writer understand the question.
