Brief

 A wholly owned subsidiary of GE, GE Asset Management (GEAM) is the investment management arm of GE and is one
of the largest managers of institutional assets in the United States.
 Project is intended to support around 28 intranet/internet web applications at GE Asset Management.
 The project involves maintenance of these 28 web applications which are based on Java. This includes handling real
time user requests and enhancements. Also involves direct communication with client to understand the requirement
or a problem.
 User requests are tracked in iCentral, which is a web application and a central repository for all the requests which are
logged by user.
 During steady state phase, along with working on user requests we focused on internal KTs and self-learning to improve
productivity, identification of permanent fixes and automation opportunities.

Implementation:

 TOMS (Trade Order Management System) implementation in GEAM Fixed Income division is part of the
business initiative to have a web application supplementing the trading terminal LZ (Latent Zero).

 Stock Watch: Stock watch is the Equity based research application which is used to view the details about the
securities.
 This application is used by Portfolio Analyst to understand the current trend of Equity market to decide on
