Conditions of Cover

• Cover is conditional upon the inspection of the vehicle. The premium will be collected on the agreed date irrespective of whether confirmation of inspection has been

• received by MiWay. It is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle gets inspected as you will have no cover until that has been done.
MiWay will give you an extension until 31-Jan-2025 to have the required MiWay approved security device installed and services activated.
• There will be no accident, theft or hijack cover while the vehicle is being used to transport fare-paying passengers by a driver that is not registered and active on the Uber
platform as an Uber driver at the time of incident. MiWay must be informed immediately should any driver of the vehicle become inactive or deregistered on the Uber
platform.
• Cover for accident, theft and hijack is conditional on a MiWay Tracker Connect device being installed, active, paid for and in a full working condition at all times. You
must comply with all the Ts and Cs in your agreement with Tracker. Should this device not be installed, an additional excess of 15% of the claim amount will be payable in
the event of an accident claim. If at the time of the incident a different early warning tracking device is installed, an additional excess of 15% of the claim amount will be
payable for theft and hijack claims. If there is no early warning tracking device active at the time of the incident there will be no cover if the vehicle is stolen.

Important to Note

• The vehicle is not covered under this policy if used for the following purposes: Traffic control including blue light brigade; law enforcement; emergency scene towing;

motor racing or transporting of dangerous goods unless they are insured under the Goods in Transit section of this policy. Passengers carried in the goods compartment
of any vehicle are not covered under this policy.
