After installing programming software of A-600, users are allowed to programe the transceiver
with programming cable.
Programming with PC
If data is transferred to the transceiver from a personal computer with software provide by ABELL, all the data
(basic radio information) can be modified. Normally, it is not necessary to modify the data because their
information is determined automatically when the frequency range (frequency type) is set. The data should be
modified when necessary. Data can be programmed into the EEPROM in RS-232C format via the SP MIC plug.
In this mode, the PTT cable’s function is the same as receiver and transition cable.
