 FOREWORD
Hi. My name is Shaeen Hoosen. This portfolio is addressed to you, Mr.
P. Govender, with the intention of you getting to know me better and
understanding the type of person that I am. I want you to know that I
will always go to the ends of the earth for Prenelle and I will never do
anything that could or would ever cause her harm. She means a lot to
me and I will always want what is best for her. I hope that by the end
of this document, you realize that there is nothing that I wouldn’t do to
make her happy. The one thing that I have always admired about her
is her respect for you and her mum. She works really hard because
she wants to make you proud and never disappoint you. She really
makes me a better person. Before I proceed with this document, I
want to thank you for raising a brilliant daughter. She doesn’t believe
me sometimes, but she really is truly amazing and I’m lucky to know
her. I hope this document answers most of your thought or concerns
about me and if there’s anything else you would like to know, please
don’t hesitate to give me a call.

 ABOUT
I am a respected individual in the sense that I always give respect in
order to earn it back. A few years ago, I lost my dad, but the one
lesson that he taught me that still sticks with me is to respect
everyone. I have been raised with good manners, great etiquette and
very good English. I have been taught to always treat everyone with
the same amount of respect, from the janitor to the CEO. I am always
eager to learn new skills and I am currently working hard to ensure
future successes. I took a gap year in 2019 because I was unsure of
what I wanted to pursue as a career. In this time, I worked diligently
in order to open up my own business. I took time to teach, I worked
during the weekends in a club and I also worked in a scrapyard for a
while before I started my business. I went from being a shy individual,
to being able to walk up to people and start a conversation. I also
don’t drink alcohol or smoke.

I study full time and when campus is done for the day I do deliveries
of till and tally rolls for my business (EAGLE TALLY ROLLS). On
weekends, I freelance selling GPS tracking devices for our family
business (STARTRACK). I will always work my hardest, because I know
the type of person I want to be. I want to be able to continue living up
to my father’s legacy of being a gentleman. I have been doubted and
looked down upon my whole life and this has fueled me to work
harder to become a better individual and ultimately a better man.
I need to point out that I’m not the type of person who dates because it
is a trend, or because I want to mess around. I wasn’t raised that way.
I know it’s close to impossible to just take my word for it, but I hope
that in time I get to prove my worth to you. I have never lost respect
for Prenelle and she can vouch for that. In the same light, I will never
lose respect for you or your family. I already have a lot of respect for
you because Prenelle is a true testament to the type of parent you
are. All she wants is to make you proud and I truly love that about her.
More than anything, she loves and respects you and she wouldn’t have
told you about me if she knew that I didn’t meet the standards of your
family. All I want is to see her happy and smiling and I know that I
bring out the best in her as well. I know that I make her as happy as
she makes me. I hope that one day, I get to prove this to you. Thank
you for raising her to be an extraordinary human being. I thank God
for her every single day. I hope that this satisfies your request, but if
