“Who am I?

My name is Aireen Joy Borja Dacumos. I was born on the 21st of August in 2002, which means I
am 18 years old now and I am light in complexion. I came from a family of four and I occupy the last
position. I have been living in Santiago Sur, San Fernando City, La Union. I finished off my Junior high
school at San Fernando City National Vocational High School and senior high school at STI College La
Union. So now I have started in DMMMSU-MLUC taking BSF and hopefully I will be able to finish off with
some great grades. I love going to school because the atmosphere is conducive for learning, so I have
always taken my studies very seriously. I have got big dreams, when it comes to studies. Since I was 6
years old, I decided to be an Educator. So that is my goal and I always try to aim to do my best at school,
so hopefully my hard work will pay off in the end. My hobbies include watching, writing and taking
calligraphy and volleyball lessons. I love meeting people and I love making friends with people who are
social. I am an outgoing person and I love to have fun and my life centers on improving humanity and I
love where I am at right now.

The question of who I am seems to be the simplest question one can answer. Yet, when I took
the time to try and figure out Who am I, I found this question is the one that requires critical thinking. In
general, the answer to this question is that I am a regular person who loves spending quality time with
the people I appreciate. In addition, I dedicate myself to completing my duties, and I have a dream of
becoming a great person. However, there are so many other things that make me a person. I always try
to use every opportunity to have more free time for my hobbies. Regarding my personality, I think that I
am a very friendly person deducing from how I relate to my peers, children and older people.

I aspire to be my mother because she made a big impact on my life. She is

independent and strong, but she is joyful and loving as well. She gives 110% for everything
she does, whether it is for work or for us. She is honest and loyal, if she makes a promise,
she will do anything to make sure it happens. She is the most respectable person I know.
She is my inspiration.
I like and love calligraphy because It helps my brain. When I practice calligraphy, I feel
myself entering a more focused state that instantly banishes my anxiety and makes me feel less
depressed. That's because we activate parts of the brain only when handwriting. I like playing
volleyball, aside from the pure enjoyment of the game, volleyball has many benefits. I have also
special skills on writings, I join activities that involves writings like journalism and essay contests.

I care about myself because self-care can be a task for me, and it is an essential
part of living. It's not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself and to make your
happiness a priority for me it’s necessary. I care about My family because I cannot imagine living my
life without my family by my side. My family is very important and valuable to me and it’s something
that should never be taken for granted. I love my family so much
