AOR-1 Self Introduction

THIS IS ME

Disclaimer, you are about to hear some interesting life stories of the great “GIO” or shall I
say Mr. Giovannie II A. Japson, ohh well that’s me and hey this is just a short introduction. Grab your
chair and have some coffee because we will go further to the journey of my life and what are the
things that I enjoy the most. Now let me begin this with my talent in which I discovered it in my
freshman year because we have this subject named ethics and our professor told us that our final
output would be a film, I think you are now aware of my talent which is acting. So to continue,
anyone or the group that has an excellent output will automatically receive a flat 1 grade on his
subject. So we really grab the opportunity and guess it, YES WE GOT IT! And guess what, our
professor invited me to join his group “kalilas” but due to my loading subjects and the course as
well I didn’t accept it. The point is I never knew I had the talent in acting like who would have
thought I could do acting and that was one of my greatest journeys during my freshman year. When
it comes to hobbies I really like basketball and playing computer games. Ever since I was in grade
school up to high school, our team always competed in local qualifiers and regional tournaments. I
am referring to my basketball career and playing computer games is my leisure time.
If you’re going to ask me what my strengths and weaknesses are, don’t worry, I GOT YOU!
Let me start first with my strengths. First, I have the eagerness/determination, especially when I
really want to get that certain thing or to be successful or to win, mark my words I will put my one
hundred percent effort to get it. Second, I think empathy and that’s one of the reasons why I have
lots of friends and yes I do not judge people when I first meet them but rather I try to understand
their approach because maybe they have just had a bad day or they are just like that. And I really
like to listen to other people’s thoughts and stories, I don’t know why but I love to give them hope
and encouragement. Lastly would be initiative, because I believe in the saying that when things are
just out of hand, you always get yourself so don’t wait for others but instead lead the way and walk
your own path because if you’re always relying on someone then nothing good will happen to you.
Now let us proceed to my weaknesses, gosh I hate this part but since we are here so just
bear with me. First is family, yes because I came from a separated family and I have never
experienced having a mother and father who are proud of what you have accomplished but I don’t
regret why it happened, instead I considered it as a blessing because I have my grandparents
whom I consider as my family. Second, self-pity and yes I always do that especially when someone
keeps on comparing me to others GOD I really hate that, I always question myself “where did I go
wrong”. Lastly, an English essay particularly this one, please don’t laugh as you have read this sir. I
don't know if I am grammatically correct when I type these words but don’t worry sir, experience is
the best teacher right? So I will not give up until I make a good output.
Let us proceed to the things that makes me happy, of course seeing my family, friends and
loved ones there beautiful smiles and contentment in life and also helping other people, that’s the
least thing I can do for those who are in need not just money or financial assistance that you offer to
them but also your words can touch people's heart and change people’s mind. I am happy as long
as others don’t suffer and seeing them happy also makes me happy. I guess these are the things that
make me happy.
What challenges me at this moment is getting that nursing license and I really like the
challenge because it is your future and I will really do everything that I can to get what I deserve. I
will really claim it now, GIOVANNIE II A. JAPSON, RN! Now let's go beyond the topic. I have already
enlightened on how to use excel with the help of this subject and also my friends because we are
planning to have a business. Maybe soon we’ll see that excel is a big factor when it comes to
business. Calculating expected profit and managing your cost and expenses from time to time so
learning excel is really important. Why am I motivated? Because I want to build a business of my
own.
My greatest achievement so far is making my grandparents proud of what I am doing today.
Making them happy by giving back to their efforts with an academic achievement, I’m not proud yet
of what I have but atleast I put smiles on their faces when I told them that I am a dean’s lister.
Seeing them being proud of me is my greatest achievement and I will make them more proud if I
have my nursing license soon.
For the next 5-10 years from now, I’m really sure that I already have my license at that time
so my goal will be having a dual citizenship and dual license, and if my grandparents are still alive at
that time, I will tour them outside the country because my lola never experience that and she really
want to. Also having a family of my own, building a business and making sure that our sons and
daughters have the mindset as I have and always teaching them to be humble and kind always.
Lastly, do not forget the person above who gave the blessing to us each day, always have time for
him and give him thanks because it won’t happen without him. (HIM = GOD)
