paper or the notes application on your phone or computer during your
class discussion.

 How different were your views compared with those of others?

- Comparisons are a natural component of human cognition and

can help you develop yourself. When we compare ourselves to
others, we gain insight into what we desire and where we want
to go, as well as useful feedback on how we compare. They can,
however, bring us a great deal of psychological distress. In many
ways, I believe we are completely different.

 Did reading other people’s views change your initial opinion? Why?
Why not?

- It is more likely to exhibit positive social behavior and empathy

towards others. Those who liked to watch television, on the
other hand, lacked empathy and were more prone to engage in
antisocial behavior. People are hesitant to modify their beliefs
even when confronted with new evidence because we don't like
feeling mistaken, confused, or insecure.

● If your opinion changed, what made you change your mind?

- If you change your mind, or if someone or something changes

your mind, you change a decision you have made or an opinion
that you had. I was going to vote for him, but I changed my
mind. But in the scheme of things, changing my mind says
more good things about my personality than it does bad. It
shows that I have a sense of awareness and curiosity, and that I
can admit and reflect when decisions have been flawed or
mistakes have been made.
