To protect ecosystems: Ecosystems are the

benefits to humans, such as clean air and water,
food and fiber.

To promote sustainable development: Sustainable

are very much important to
humans and other species for
health, quality of life, and
survival. So, to protect that,
environmental protection is very
important.
How can we protect the
Environment?

• Environmental protection is very much required in today's time. Some

of the ways to protect the environment is to conserve water, save
electricity, clean up the community, educate people on pollution,
conserve water, preserve soil, tree plantation, use long lasting bulbs
and plant trees.
• One easy way to make sure that the eco-trend continues is to always
remember the 4R Principle.
What is 4R principle?

The 4R principle involves the guidelines for proper plastic

use as Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover waste. The 4R
rule provides an environment friendly approach for
managing waste and waste streams. It reduce, reuse, recycle
and recover a waste stream into incremental fractions.

We should reuse the materials instead of dumping them.

Reuse
Non-biodegradable material should be subjected to the recycling process.

If the waste remains after it is been reused and recycled, we can use it to

Conclusion: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover. This is
the way we will lessen our impact on the
environment. Thankfully, there are
incentives to encourage many of us to
recycle such as receiving money when
we turn in cans, bottles, scrap metal and
electronics. However, recycling does
more than line our pockets with a bit of
extra change. It also allows us to reduce
our impact on environment.
