Hi all, I would like to say good morning to the respected juries, and my dear friends.

As
we all know that we have gathered here to celebrate this auspicious occasion, I would like to
speak over the environment of our continuously declining environment so that we all together
can be successful in saving our environment by taking some effective steps. As we all know, we
live on the planet Earth, and there are several types of ecosystems in which we can eat properly,
breathe pure air, and live safely.
However, what happens to our lives if the environment deteriorates due to natural or
man-made factors? We cannot comprehend the scale of the loss to human and other living
species survival. The ecosystem balance and natural cycles have been disrupted, making it
difficult to recover and reconstruct. However, as the saying goes, "prevention is better than
cure," so we will never stop doing everything we can to preserve the environment.
The physical environment of our planet provides the necessities for all of us and also
supports the emergence and growth of many life forms. While nature provides the physical
environment, all living things work together to build the biological environment. Together, these
two ecosystems form a special natural system that sustains life. The physical and biological
surroundings have a great influence on human existence, and when the biological environment is
disturbed, it also has an impact on humans.
Another habitat that is entirely dependent on humans is the socio-cultural environment
created by humans. Whatever environment exists, it must be healthy, safe, and secure in order to
sustain evergreen life on Earth in the present and future.
We must acknowledge our mistakes and show concern for the environment in order to
preserve it clean, safe, and secure for a healthy life. Many human actions, such as deforestation,
industrialization, technological advancements, and so on, endanger our environment and put
lives at risk by influencing the growth, development, and survival of all organisms.
Various types of environmental pollution, such as water pollution, air pollution, noise
pollution, soil pollution, and so on, disrupt the ecosystem and pose health risks to humans and
animals alike. Environmental pollution harms the ecosystem by disrupting the vital balance of
the natural ecosystem. So, currently, environmental pollution is a major issue and consideration,
and we all work together to take effective efforts and continue until the problem is fully
resolved.
It is our responsibility to protect and preserve these ecosystems for the well-being of
current and future generations. Let us pledge today to make conscious efforts in our daily lives
to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute towards a sustainable environment. We must
remember that the future of our planet depends on the actions we take today. Let's commit to
making a positive impact and preserving our environment for generations to come.
TITLE
The environment refers to the surroundings or conditions in which living organisms,
including humans, animals, and plants, exist. It encompasses both the natural world (such as air,
water, land, and ecosystems) and the built environment (such as cities, buildings, and
infrastructure).
The environment provides the resources necessary for life, including clean air, water,
food, and shelter. It also plays a crucial role in regulating the Earth's climate, supporting
biodiversity, and maintaining ecological balance.
Protecting the environment is essential for ensuring the well-being of both current and
future generations. Human activities, such as industrialization, deforestation, pollution, and
climate change, can have detrimental effects on the environment and threaten biodiversity,
ecosystem stability, and human health.
Students can take care of nature in various ways, both big and small. Here are some ways
they can contribute:
1. Education and Awareness: Students can educate themselves and others about
environmental issues through research, discussions, and presentations. They can organize
seminars, workshops, or awareness campaigns to spread knowledge about the importance
of protecting nature.
2. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Encouraging practices such as reducing waste, reusing
materials, and recycling helps minimize the impact on the environment. Students can
promote these practices within their schools and communities by setting up recycling
programs, using reusable water bottles and bags, and avoiding single-use plastics.
3. Conservation Projects: Students can get involved in conservation projects such as tree
planting, beach cleanups, or habitat restoration efforts. Participating in these projects not
only helps improve the environment but also fosters a sense of responsibility and
connection to nature.
4. Sustainable Living: Adopting sustainable lifestyles can significantly reduce our
ecological footprint. Students can promote energy conservation by turning off lights and
electronics when not in use, using public transportation or carpooling, and supporting
local and sustainable products.
5. Technology and Innovation: Students can use technology and innovation to address
environmental challenges. This could involve developing eco-friendly inventions, using
renewable energy sources, or designing sustainable solutions to environmental problems.
By actively engaging in these activities, students can play a crucial role in protecting and
preserving nature for future generations.
More than ever, our planet requires us to rise up and take action to clean up many of the
problems we have caused through irresponsibility. There is still more work to be done to restore
balance to our ecosystem, whether it be due to oil spills, air pollution, plastics, or hazardous
chemicals leaking into our water. Our primary goal should be to promote environmental justice
for all. Margaret Mead stated that, “We won’t have a society if we destroy the environment.” It is
crucial that we prioritize protecting our planet for future generations. Our actions today will
have a lasting impact on the world we leave behind. Our climate is changing; why aren't we?
