ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research are to analyze and design a web-based “TRAVELS AND
TOURISM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” that will provide leverage for passengers and
travels agencies who want an application to support and manage the work more effectively.
This project is developed by using Php Javascript as the front end and Sql as the backend it
provides support to all browsers available to date. This project of travel and tourism allows
you to book a tour from any part of the world at any time of the day. It also provides the user
with the facility of searching for a place and tour details without changing the tab. All the
authority to add packages to the website of certain places and prices will be with the admin of
the system. The user can sign in at any time and book a tour and also get a confirmation on
the booking pages.

INTRODUCTION-
The travel and tourism management system is a platform that can be used to book a tour from
any part of the World and that too any time. The beauty of this helps the admin can add
packages to this and the user will get the benefit in a way that the user will get places and tour
information at the same place. Also, the user can get the confirmation after confirmation from
the manager or admin on the same page itself. This also allows the user to access the details
of location, event, etc. This is the easiest platform we are making available to a user for
traveling booking. Almost every one of us goes on a vacation for one day, so this system will
play a major role in this and make our holiday, vacation more joyful. The main aim behind
making this system is to help travel agencies and tourism companies to manages customers
and hotels. This system can be used for both business and professional trips by the user as per
need.

EXISTING SYSTEM-
In the existing system of tours, every task is carried out manually right from registering a user
to booking a tour, And as the work is a large amount it felt like a very tedious task.
Maintaining a timetable and for each small thing using a pen and paper is hectic work. This
causes too many errors and the result obtained is also not accurate, To remove all this an
online booking system is being developed by us.

2. IF A RECORD ENTERED IS WRONG THEN MAINTAINING IT IS VERY
DIFFICULT
3. TEDIOUS TASK TO UPDATE PACKAGES
4. DIFFICULT TO SPREAD OFFERS TO USERS

PROPOSED SYSTEM-
The currently develop system is majorly focusing on reducing the efforts of both the manager
and user involved in tours and travels making everything available in one place. Right from
filling out a form to booking a tour and payment everything is done on a single platform. This
system benefits us in a way that searching a certain record from millions of records is as easy
as searching on Google and too in no time.

2. Reduce the use of pen and paper thus documentation.
3. User-friendly interface
4. Get the places and packages at the same places
5. Get confirmation letters
6. Provides 24X7 services
7. Provide correct information in no time

RESULT DISCUSSION
Before we start the development of this project we conducted surveys, observations, and
discussions with travel agencies and literature surveys to exactly know where the problem is
occurring and which are the major areas to be focused on and also understand the exact need
of travel agencies and also users. The benefits of our system are listed below. The manager
was panicking because of an improper document, The record was lost, Some of the users
didn’t know the offers going on, and paying more money, Some users don’t know which
place to visit, Also they don’t know where to book a ticket. The various modules of our
projects are as follows:

CONCLUSION

The web application is successfully created and it can store information about the user,
package booking, creation management, and tour details in the database using this platform.
This application is tested with several different inputs and errors are properly resolved and
debugged. And satisfactory results are obtained after all this. This application fulfills the need
behind creating it that is it can automate all the tasks related to travel and tourism. This
application is 100 percent useful for small agencies and if a need to use it for big agencies
arises then enhancement can be done in it. To conclude the application is performed
according to the decision criteria.
