How to Make Yogurt

Sure, it's easy to stroll down the supermarket aisle and throw a cup of yogurt into
your cart, but have you ever been tempted to yogurt in your kitchen? Yogurt with good
bacteria benefits digestion, improves immunity, and lessens food allergies. Follow these
steps to learn how to make your yogurt.

Tools & materials :


1. Plain yogurt (2 tbsp)
2. Milk (1000 ml)
3. Receptacle/Container
4. Spoon
5. Pan
6. Stove
7. Cloth

Work steps :
1. Prepare the tools and materials to be used.
2. Prepare a yogurt starter, which contains the bacteria to make yogurt.
3. Heat the milk using a stove for 10-15 minutes until it reaches a temperature of
70-80 °C.
4. Heating is done while stirring the milk slowly. Then cool the milk in a closed
container to 37-45 °C. Then add bacteria (yogurt starter) to the milk.
5. Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
6. Once evenly distributed, cover tightly and protect the area with a cloth to prevent
bacteria.
7. Store in an airtight place and let sit for 1-2 days.
8. Yogurt is ready to be served.
