A successful manager should have the following qualities:

 Strong Communication Skills: A successful manager should be able to communicate effectively


with their team, as well as other stakeholders. They should be able to clearly articulate their
ideas and expectations and listen actively to feedback.
 Accountability: A successful manager should take responsibility for the performance of their
team and be accountable for their actions and decisions. They should be able to hold
themselves and their team members accountable for achieving their goals.
 Employee motivation
 The key qualities for a successful manager today is to be a good leader, to be sociable with
employees, to have good communication skills and to be responsible.
 He knows how to resolve conflicts.

1. Niall says that a successful manager should firstly listen and secondly must ask questions.

2. Naill, before coming into contact with people from other countries, asked friends and locals for ideas
about what he should do and what he should not do.

C. The 5 ways to get the best out of people are:

Managers should regularly provide feedback to their team members to help them understand
where they stand and what they need to improve upon. Additionally, managers should
recognize their team members' achievements and contributions, which can help to motivate
and inspire them.
Develop strong relationships, build trust, recognition
Managers should foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration,
communication, and innovation.

1. To show appreciation and recognition.

2. To communicate your decisions very clearly.

3. To give clear reasons for the decision taken.

4. Explain the benefits of this decision.

5. Ask for people the commitment to working with management to realise the goal.
