A. Listening and Speaking
Digital literacy involves more than just understanding how to utilize technology; it also
involves the ability to successfully navigate the world that has been enriched by technology.
This could be in your social, cultural, educational, or professional life. Being digitally literate is
about realizing your capacity to move fluidly across platforms and applications using the
digital talents you've picked up in one setting. All you have to do is lay a strong foundation
before attempting to improve your digital footprint.
In this era of digital technology, social media platforms have a larger role to play in
circulating fake news. Studies found that fake news spreads faster than true news on
social media due to the users’ social media habits. As a user, manage your social media
responsibly.

Learn the following table.
1. Understand the opposing points of view. You can’t make a good argument if you couldn’t
understand why the opposing side thinks you’re wrong. After all, the goal of arguing is to
better understand the issue at hand. This tip is done through listening carefully. You have to
listen to your opponents’ points, understand, retain, and all it back as a useful information.
2. Keep it simple. All good idea starts from a simple idea. A simple but powerful idea will bring
readers to your point, convincing them into agreeing with your points.
3. Avoid logical fallacy. A logical fallacy is a kind of flaw that makes your point weak. Some
fallacies are easy to spot on, while the others are a little bit difficult to detect. One example
of fallacy is attacking personal instead of addressing the arguments.

The most important and, perhaps should first be considered is to
decide if the argument is worth to be debated. An argument is worth
the shot if both parties are equally respectful and wanting to dive deep
into the issues. Meanwhile, when facing arguments with insincere
motivation, like those which end in misunderstanding and conflict, it’s
probably best to avoid them altogether.

working professionally, being digitally literate is a must. Without sufficient digital
literacy skill, it will be very difficult to keep up with the ever-evolving job

heard some jobs may disappear in the next 10 years? Do you know what are
they? Why do people think those jobs disappear? Do you agree if digital
literacy will influence your career in the future? Why do you think so?
