The student is required to enclose the following MOOC course details in a separate attachment:
(i) Course Summary, (ii) Prerequisites, (iii) Course Structure (iv) Learning Outcomes, (v)
Evaluation Components and Grading Policy, (vi) Course Outline of any similar course at the
University, if applicable, and (vii) Rationale for taking the course as a MOOC.

of my knowledge. I also acknowledge that after completion of the registered course, it is my
responsibility to submit the Course Completion Certificate to the Faculty Supervisor.

Credits for the MOOC course are obtained as below:
If the number of hours fall in between these ranges of hours the number of credits will correspond to
the range of lesser number of hours.
Note that MOOC courses and their credits are approved individually and not as a set of courses.
So a collection of courses that adds up to 39 hours may not constitute 3 credits. A course of 23 hours + a
course of 16 hours = 1.5 credits + 1 credit = 2.5 credits and not 3 credits corresponding to a total of 39
hours.

Since a MOOC course requires time and effort from the student, approval for MOOCs for a
student should take into account the other credits that the student is taking during the
semester. Students may be encouraged to complete MOOCs during the Summer Term and
Winter Break.
